It was really very informative..Dhrupad aik intehi khubsoorat aur mukamal gayiki ang hai...I heard Gundicha brothers when they came to our college NCA lahore..and last year we were lucky to be with Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar in Delhi...remarkable great people on earth..

You are an encyclopedia of music. You have knowledge of so many things. There are somethings which we feel are impossible to learn. I can tell dhrupad is horrendously difficult. The alap is so difficult my God. It is too tough. It is better to listen and enjoy dhrupad.
For many of us that is enough.

You've explained the history of Dhrupad and the style, expertly showing the differences from the other forms of Music. It's really sad that I never had an entry into Dhrupad, even after Learning Carnatic and a bit of Hindustani. I will try to delve deeper into it.
