Dragon is written perfectly as a revolutionary leader. Anyone who studies successful revolutions knows just storming the enemies or making decisions based on emotions will lead to great loss and failure. Dragon is easily in my top three one Piece characters and we still know almost nothing about his powers. I do feel that he will be my favorite after One Piece is said and done.
Also, people need to realize the Dragon can't just act like Luffy because Luffy has the greatest power in all of fiction, plot armor. Which is fine because he is the literal main character.
I very much agree. Revolution is a different goal than Luffys, one that has to pace itself and it takes so much time. People like the Revolutionary Army or even Whitebeards crew help set the stage for Luffy to thrive, and we can see that with our elders who have paved the way for us today

They didn't have "main character plot armor" either, showing Dragon doing anything is better than nothing. Dragon/RA is the only faction in One Piece that managed to lose three commanders (Ginny, Kuma, Ivan captured and imprisoned in Impel Down) while the leader hide in safety. Every single other factions, YONKO CREWS (with bad evil people), their captains/leaders charge the front lines. Dragon is the only coward that sent his subordinates to die in his place. And don't act as if Revolutionary Army is irreplaceable because they are absolutely not. Cross Guild is doing their job for them and is doing it better--in two weeks--than RA did in two years.
I feel like we'll get Dragon flashback where he's like Garp or Luffy who just goes on straight to the enemy but his marine comrades might have been the consequence of his actions so he didn't want to live with regrets as he's always saying or might just be the wg/marines corrupt system that made him left.
Idk about that, hardly anybody dies in One Piece unless it's a flashback. There's plenty of plot armor to go around. Even Sabo is still alive, that shit doesn't make sense.

Not the best example. We don't have full context on what happened in that event, and it's likely Fisher Tiger was already inside and a slave prior to his escape. Him being on the inside and causing mayhem with a slave revolt is probably more possible than breaking in from the outside

I was under the impression that when he was crying to the Sun Pirates about having been a slave and trying to escape with his life, he couldn't morally leave the other slaves behind so he freed them as well. It doesn't clearly outline the sequence of events imo

In terms of the Goa Kingdom flashback, who would be there to stop Dragon's Revolutionary Army. They had Ivankov, Kuma, and Dragon himself there. The only one I see who could stomp them would be if Garp was stationed there.
Eh did you forget Sengoko or Kong (Which at time was the Fleet Admiral and likely a monster) not to mention god's knight so how the fck they would fight those? I Can only see infiltration but it would still be predicted by this monster, Dragon might not be able to fight this monster alone even with the likes of Ivankov and Kuma
Also it would be just like Marineford when they pull all their best just to fight Whitebeard, this would be no different except they would be even more serious as all of their monster would fight Dragon
