I recently had to stop running for about 2 weeks due to illness (COVID), so I feel you! Also, when I started running (about a month and a half ago) I immediately starting gaining weight, even though my clothes were fitting better and I was feeling good! I also have a history of disordered eating so this has been quite difficult for me to get my head around also. Not sure if it's possible, but perhaps one or more of your friends could join you running maybe once a week/month? Also, I think I will walk/run forever lol!
