For the larger wheel upgrade i should have used HEX adapters so the wheels fitted properly. I will be addressing this in a future video when the new HEX parts arrive. Great video. I am having a problem that maybe you can help with. I put two different sets of upgraded tires on and once they are tightened down the wheels are hard to turn like they are stuck or rubbing? Hope you can help as I am coming from the flying side of rc. Thanks
I still use stock ones they ARE oil filled just not filled all the way. get a good heavy weight oil and the stock ones work fine. I have 2 A959's and 1 A959B the A959B is all upgraded with metal parts which adds quite a bit of weight. Have you though of getting 7mm to 12MM hex adapter so you can put on 1/10th scale tires? I found they help give it clearance so it doesn't bottom out as much.
Dude are you serious all this knowledge you seem to know but you couldn’t figure out that you need a hex adapter did you not notice those bigger wheels have a bigger hex size you can’t be serious right now
Hey King Nica thanks for your comment, but I did say in the video that i should be using a socket set and that wasnt able to for this video so i would be using a pair of long nose pliars instead.
JD Quad no I mean a hex adapter for the back part of the blue rims. Being that they are bigger than the hex part that comes stock on the car and are too small. You need a hex adapter to accommodate the bigger tire hex on the interior of it. Here I’ll do you a better solid. Link coming your way and any one else misinformed.....

You appear to not be using the 12mm adaptors hence the slippage!
Add two automobile tire weight s one on the front and on on the back and that will fix the no traction problem
