    Wow i love your accents! What made me impressed is that you actually mentioned that you've failed many times but still got back on the track. I feel like in language community everyone is so diligent with their studies hence they do not fail. Which makes me fewl like I'm left behind. Anyways this video was so calming to watch bcs of your voice

    Great video! Does your Korean ever interfere with your Japanese in your brain? I ask because I‘ve been learning Japanese for the past 3 years and it really feels like it‘s paying off recently, but lately I‘ve been also very intriqued by acquiring Korean in the same way you did, because I‘ve been acquiring French that way and it‘s really been satisfying without seeming to interfere in my English. Is that because we give primacy to certain languages?

      Thanks for watching! Hmm...It usually doesn't bother me too much but there are some words I get mixed up from time to time due to the similarity in pronunciation (such as 세탁&洗濯). However, even if I mispronounce the word initially, my brain already knows what's right and what's not so I simply correct myself on the spot. I'm not too sure what the science behind it is tho!

    Love this! I'm a native English speaker who is currently studying Mandarin Chinese. My hope to duel study Korean and Japanese once I am more fluent in my Chinese skills (so hopefully by this summer). After watching your video I feel more inspired and motivated to keep going and try to learn all of these languages.

    Hey Nunna, I'm presently learning Korean and English. But I have been working on my Korean for 2 years and half and English for 5 months. And I plan to learn Chinese after I am better at English and level up my Korean.For me, you are one of my idols.I wanna be expert at Korean, English and Chinese like you.

    First of all, language flex dayuuuumn 🔥that too with CJK?? wow I'm impressed 😳
    Secondly, would you say that you picked up Japanese a bit more easily because you actually lived in Japan? I mean, you were fully immersed in Japanese culture. Also, great video, I enjoyed it a lot. It was calming to watch it and I will definitely keep coming back to this channel, looking forward to more content!! uhhh hwaiting!!!!

    • @mii20s

      Thank you thank you🤗!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video💓
      I definitely picked up Japanese a lot easier after being imprisoned in Japanese school lol I was forced to read/write/speak/interact in Japanese for a good 3.5 years so that was HUGE. Also, living in Japan during college allowed me to brush up on not only my language skills but also my understanding of the Japanese culture. Never have I felt so non-Japanese my whole life...haha I think physically being in a country definitely allows you to pick up the language a whole lot quicker (ex: my Chinese) bc it also gives you the opportunity to find things you're interested in. For example, if I didn't go to China to study, I probably wouldn't have been exposed/developed an interest in Chinese variety shows or music. This helped so much with my listening and speaking!

    • @kaito4356

      @@mii20s That makes a lot of sense and I suppose living in Japan and China helped you pick up the nuances the respective languages because there's only so much you can learn through a screen or a book as opposed to actually being surrounded by it. Nevertheless, it makes me happy that you got these wonderful experiences. I began studying Japanese and then switched to Korean ( courtesy of Kdramas), it's a daunting language for sure.

    I don’t know why

    • @mii20s

      Very much offended lol jk😂 That's hilarious. Maybe it's bc I look asian? Or maybe my English stinks? Nonetheless, English is very much my native language.

    In my opinion your Chinese and Korean are influenced by Japanese, not English. Definitely those languages are similar to Japanese, especially Korean has almost the same grammar system. 덕질 is one of the best way to learn languages. For me, learning languages is just like play the game)

    • @mii20s

      Totally! I've never actually learned Japanese grammar nor Korean grammar before but I've heard the two are basically the same. For me, understanding Japanese helped with memorizing words. I wouldn't say English didn't help because I learn in English, grasp *most* concepts in English, etc., but knowing a multitude of languages definitely helps understand other languages from varying perspectives😊
      Language learning feels like a game/puzzle to me, too!
