I've already listened to a few TH-cam videos about learning the alphabet, I think it's "classical Arabic" but I'm not sure. And I'm very slow, I'm still learning to read words. I'm not really learning vocabulary yet. Also I have a second question : I know the vowels are indicated by accents (like the "hamza"), but I've seen many Arabic inscriptions where there was no accent. Does that mean that all vowels were indicated by the alif, ya and waw letters ? (I've just learn about the prolonged vowels so I didn't oticed at that time) I love the writing Arabic, it's beautiful imo
Hi Ryan! I need to tell you something. This week, I had an appointment at the dentist. The dential assistant looked like she's from Indonesia, so I asked her if she's Indonesian. After she said yes, I asked kamu bisa bahasa Indonesia? I know that sentence because of you! She told me she speaks a little bit of Indonesian. I then said selamat pagi. She said that means sleep well. I ended up correcting her in her own language lol. I thought it was very funny, and we both had a lot of fun speaking Indonesian! I will watch this video later on. In other words, the pranks work best when they rely upon lies of omission rather than commission. You are so forehead-slappingly impressive and your videos so much fun, I had to throw in my two cents. Thanks for all the happy diversion!
People always seem surprised when they see a 250 lb. green eyed white guy (me) speak Spanish. I can't imagine the shock people get when you casually bust out conversational Chinese, Indonesian, and Korean. Love the videos!
I just found your channel yesterday and I am very very impressed. So many different languages. It shows me how great it can be to speak many languages. I also always try to learn languages and expand the knowledge, but the ambition is too low haha. Maybe the channel will change something. (English is not my normal language, sorry for any mistakes)
