One of the things I LOVE about NWJNS choreo is the fact that it gives off kids-having-fun-dancing vibes. The girls are free to do different things within the scope of a dance step or in-between moves. It's more groovy than technical. Plus all their moves are accessible and fun to do. You cannot help but smile while watching them dance.
To add to that; I like the way they often turn and look at each other and smile. It makes it more personal. They have done it since attention, though its more obvious in Hype Boy.

Haerin is so light on her feet for someone who eats up all of the choreography. She is the founder of the clean plate club because she never leaves any crumbs.
You spotted that Haerin dance break and her footwork. She's my favorite and definitely my favorite dancer in the group. She killed that part sm.

the concept for ditto and omg was just a group of friends dancing together and i think the choreo represents it so well. and the way the girls are often doing the same moves but slightly different is so fun to watch

as someone who is also turning 40, i felt weird liking new jeans cuz they were so young, but they make such good music and theyre super talented. but now i feel like the proud uncle cheering on their future success.

I love NewJeans, they are something else, not trying to compare because they are different groups with different concepts but they give me BTS vibes, they are special
NewJeans is the 2nd group (skz was first) that genuinely makes me warm inside to see them dance. As a girl group, it makes me so happy and satisfied to see them be actual dancers!! Most GGs just do sequenced poses and/or some light vogueing.
On top of that, they're so talented and working so hard but clearly having so much fun. I'm envious ~
Yes completely agree. Love that this group is giving the vibes for their age. And I actually hope that in the future they continue to be vibey and funky instead of the usual stuff we see out there.
That dance they do in OMG reminds me of TLC Creep when Lisa left eye and Chili did that dance move and they turn around just like New Jeans did.

Newjeans has really simple dance moves but the way the moves are choreographed following the beats, waves of the music is so beautiful to watch!

NewJeans are the Baby VOX of this new era. I said that from the beginning when I first came across their music and videos. It reminds me so much of their energy and vibe and it seems to be their blueprint whether it’s a conscious thing or not. I want them to last and go on to do so many things with their music
I see it has they are playing the role of a late-90s R&B girl group. If you look at the videos for Ditto everything screams late 90s (the cam-corder, the flip phone, vhs tapes)

It's not a "real" wood flooring. I forgot the name of it but the floor is actually not as hard as a wood floor. It absorbs shocks and provides protection when dancing, so that when you slip or fall you don't get hurt.
