That's one of my favorite things about Fouad, he seems to say a lot "This is what works for me" and that's super important. Tons of people just copy what they see or hear when likely you'll see better results if you tweak things for your body/lifestyle/ability, etc.
My split for the year, focus arms and legs: On my work days, I do 35 pushups every hour for 8 to 10 of the hours. At some point on work days, I do sets of bodyweight rows from this pipe, with my feet on a platform. Strict reps, full contraction hold, quality reps. Just added volume. Split: - Rows(Horizontal Pulling) Biceps, Chest -Legs (Quad Focus) -Triceps, Back(Vertical Pulling) -Deadlift Hamstrings Shoulders This alliws me to train Biceps and Triceps when they are fresh, and focus on quads and hamstrings on different days.
Actually points out the minor drawbacks of his own products; class act businessman. The logo is so well done, minimalist yet polished. I've been needing a new gym shirt to add to my collection :-) It also seems pretty clear that you are probably an amazing coach as you continually address what works for you and may or may not work for someone else, making it obvious that you individualize programs for clients rather than lazily throw preprgrams at people. You're my favorite new channel.
The bro split is the only split you can do continuously no matter what stage as if you want to train your whole body more often you just combine body parts on days, I personally credit it for helping me bring up weak body parts. Actually covered it in my last video too so on the same page 😂
Happened to fall onto this video and not regretting it. Very real about what WORKS FOR YOU MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. You don’t pretend you know everything, just what has worked from experience and thats really refreshing to see in this Industry
My joints kill me on anything more than a 4 day split. I need a day off after back and 2 days off after legs. Everything else is good. Cross your fingers for me I'm trying to get out of this manual labor job and have an interview in march. If I get it I see big gains coming my way. I cant break 220 for shit pouring concrete everyday. I'm eating 4,000 to 5,000 calories a day all fairly clean now and fluctuating 210 to 220 daily. Its nuts.
I myself like a three day split, consisting of two different push, pull, and leg days focusing on different parts of each muscle group. It allows me to hit every body part pretty frequently. It’s also easy to incorporate rest days. Usually I’ll go push then pull. Depending on how I feel I’ll take a rest day or go straight into legs and take a rest day and start over again.
Great content man. What I have found to be the best is similar to your routine except I put legs all in a day because my legs are a strong point. Also most of the time I get winded out training 5 times a day. my routine: Arms - Weak bodyparts for me, long bones and shit insertions, needs a special day Legs - Including calves ofc Off Chest & Shoulders - a lot of overlap between exercises Back - Serious bb needs it own back day, theyre huge muscle groups Off Off
Excellent! The part about always keeping the split fluid is key. Avoiding the gym bro’s on weekend arm day is something I’ve been doing for a while now👍🏾

If I were you I'd do chest front shoulders, back rear delts, arms, legs. Gives you a 3rd day off. Throw it in wed after back. Huge difference that's my routine and it works amazingly well. I take 2 days off on the weekend for legs to recover.
@ryan rogers I heal well I also work 12 hours a day electrical maintenance and have 3 children. I grow the most with this routine though. think about it though, you are getting rest. Mon. Is a push (press) (your Tris are already being used. Might as well burn them out Tues is a pull you're already using biceps once again burn them out Wed. Shoulders only ,because I enjoy having boulders above my arms. (It's been a day and a half since using Triceps so they have recovered.) I like this approach 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The split thick/wide for back is a great idea. I will try since my lats are really my weakest point by far. Especially the lower part of the lats.
I was doing push pull legs when I first started going to the gym and it was great. Nothing against it, except for one thing. I got to a point pretty fast where I was not making any gains on the bench. I tried adjusting food, I fixed my form and there I was watching people that weight much less then me, smaller than me and making bench gains and military press gains. It was very frustrating. I started to look at things and noticed one thing. They were all younger than me. I was 37 when i started hitting the gym. I wasn't a novice to working out. I used to do a lot of body weight training in my 20s. I did some reading and realized that maybe just maybe I just wasn't recovering enough to hit any PRs. Everyone is science based training these days. It's like a cult. Frequency, frequency and more frequency. I decided maybe try classic bro split and there it was, I started hitting PRs. Guess the older you get the harder it is to recover. I was feeling like I wasn't sore. But, I guess I just wasn't fully recovered enough to 100% to push for any PR's. IDK, people have been making gains with classic bro split for decades and all of a sudden people make fun of anyone that does it, saying it's not optimal. lol. So, I guess everyone looked like shit till they found out that frequency is slightly better? Yeah, you might make gains slower by a small margin, but I want to make gains in not just looks but strength as well.
Another great video...everyone benefits from videos like this, explaining why and how your working out makes me want to try it to change things up...and it all makes sense.

Hye Fouad. I really hope you can answer several question for me. 1-can we train bicep and triceps on the same day? 2- which body parts that should train more to gain mass? 3- Did I have to do cardio even though I'm in bulking?
Ok that’s it’s , when I finish off my redcon supps I’m going to order some hostile pre, and pump supps ! Been following you lately and like what I see I’ll give your stuff a try !
Another helpful video. Making me think my split is not it's best. Monday - Active rest (walking) Tuesday - Legs Wednesday - Chest & Triceps Thursday - Back & Biceps Friday - Legs Saturday - Shoulders Sunday - Low weight, high reps. Chest, Back, Biceps, Triceps. Is that too much? Legs twice is because I am obsessed with getting big legs, and the pain i feel during legs is something I crave.
@@FouadAbiad i get some soreness but not heaps. Are you waiting until its all gone before hitting again? Change the rest day and Mon/Fri leg session look better?
Jeremy Parrott hey I’m bored and scrolling some comments and wanted to chime in here. Legs being such a big muscle group, imo, can’t be hit twice a week like other muscles that tend to recover faster. BUT going lighter twice per week might work for YOU with legs. I personally grow better with hitting them hard AF once a week and I’m sore for 4 days. Switching to Monday/Friday doesn’t change anything for rest time of 2 days. Now, you say that you are obsessed with big legs. Are they lacking or are you trying to have wheels that may be arguably too big? If they’re lacking, def try the lower set days twice per week and see if they respond well, otherwise, start smashing them harder once per week. Even if on drugs, if they aren’t sore for 3 or 4 days, you can/must hit them harder that one day. As far as training while still slightly sore, DONT! They must be fully healed (rebuilt) before hitting again.
@@mwd4155 they are a lacking body part in my opinion. Thus wanting to smash them twice. When i train I can barely walk home, struggle with stairs, but I'd say usually day 3 I am good. Day 4 if you were cautious. Muscle soreness is something that I achieve when haven't trained, but not as much when in the grind. Biceps for example are never sore the next day. All natural in my training.
Jeremy Parrott it’s really hard to say since everyone is different and I’m not sure exactly how you feel. Another thing you can try is always switching up your split for legs. Focus on always making you sure you train them every 4 days. This will take some thought and decide which body part will and can afford to “suffer” slightly. Since you’ll be ensuring an every 4th day leg session, you’ll be juggling another muscle group. Understand? Remember, it’s up to you to listen and watch your body and see what will work for you. I definitely suggest taking other athletes splits and schedules with a grain of salt and paving your own path. You’ll see that even if that path is completely your own, it still makes the most sense. Lots of trail and error my friend. Hope all this helps.
Very much a 90’s/00’s split. I think for us hardgainers we’ve made leaps and bounds when it comes to training. Theres tons of evidence there to show doing push/pull/legs OFF repeat works as the recovery stage is alot shorter and its TONS less taxing on the central nervous system. Believe theres new studies showing that 7 sets on major body parts every 4 days (almost twice a week) works better for most of the generic public. Hence why all the coaches iver here in the uk have all there clients doing this and growing at a more efficient rate while not being overly run down.
I love to watch your videos, they are very instructive and substantiated by facts. One more plus is calmness in your voice. the videos you make are without modern and fancy things without false glamor. Just keep it up you got a subscription from me and full support !!
For someone who has gut issues avoid pre workouts and just eat good food and make sure you breathe properly and for me personally it stresses my gut less doing strength training less volume is better for ibs cause you don’t want too much blood flow away from digestive system

Jeremy Parrott I can say this. If I train legs Tuesday, they’re still gonna be sore Friday so I wouldn’t be ready to hit them again
Holy shit man that warehouse is massive. Lookin forward to getting those supps!
Thanks!

For someone who has gut issues avoid pre workouts and just eat good food and make sure you breathe properly and for me personally it stresses my gut less doing strength training less volume is better for ibs cause you don’t want too much blood flow away from digestive system
