Although I will subscribe your Modern Jazz Pathways: a quick question.
I have composed for & worked with Ted Nash (J@LC), Scott Hamilton, Jerry Bergonzi, Ralph LaLama (Vanguard Jazz Orchestra), et al…. and in the classical arena, Harvey Pittel, Roger Greenberg, Todd Yukumoto, et al….
You, Chaise Baird, have a huge tone across the instrument (and altissimo) and excellent swing/groove and cleverly musical lines.
I am learning sax in my semiretirement; I have acquired a Mark VI tenor, Vintage Florida No USA Metal Otto Link, and Ishimori ligature (a la Chris Potter)…
I’m a beginner but ready to get to work !
I’m conducting orchestras on tour and will be back home NYC but moving to St. Louis. Beyond your subscription, do you teach privately (remotely)?
