As of tonight, 3/17, the LaDWLF Director has compromised and agreed to issue a permit, with conditions that will allow the family to keep the animal whose life they saved. And despite the ravings of "haters" everyone in Louisiana IS NOT going to want one/trap one as a pet. A happy ending for once❤

What about people who have monkeys as pets? Leave Nudie alone and let him live with the only family he knows since he was a baby and orphaned. What is wrong with human beings, if they are human. They would rather see a domesticated animal die then to let it live in peace.

I actually ràised a mama Nutria & her little pups & one they were big enough I let them free in my backyard with was also a swamplamp here in Louisiana. Crazy enough, when I was a little girl, my family in Metairie cooked some Nutria & we use to eat them often. Pretty tasty little critters when cooked right! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

I just found a baby nutria across the street in the creek and called a wildlife rehab because I literally had no clue what to do and I didn't want him to be swept away from his momma 🥺 they told me to put him back and go back in 1 1/2 hrs and see if he's still there.
