Very useful and informative commentary during the build process. You also are willing to point out some of the shortfalls of the kit in addition to the positives. Good discussion of your technique which includes your reason for your approach. Very creative
Very nice, to see such a detailed work which is so exactly and well executed. The result speaks for himself. A great work, Julian. The Jagdtiger is on the best way to become a high end model. Best wishes, Joachim
It's very nice work. Also, you built Tamiya's Jagdtiger so politely and precisely. Of course, I subscribed your channel and will support. Looking forward to the next video. Best wishes, NOB
@@ScaleMilitaryModels which is funny considering he actually says the Tamiya one would be an easier build. I guess easy doesn’t equal quality in the long run. But super thanks again for the vid, I just ordered the Aber metal barrel and detail parts, as well as the metal tracks. I’ll definitely be following along with this vid can’t wait to see how it comes out.
I see some Uncle Night Shift in you young man. Great work. You’re a prodigy. One thing I did on my build was to use Tamiya quick type epoxy to fill the seam lines on the Aber barrel. There are two. Not a knock here. One is practically unseen because of the mantlet. Carry on!
Excellent job mate looks cool :) How was the building? Looking forward for the next videos Keep on the fine work there mate Stay healthy and safe there :)
Thank you! I’d say 90% of things went together well, there was one very minor gap on the front plate where it meets the sides, but things like that can easily be fixed. Another video should come in the next few weeks.
Great video Julian! I shall certainly try out your way of doing shell damage - that looks great. It seems a brilliant kit - much better than their early one. Good work and well explained. 👍
Man, this was a well put together video of a well done build. Nice job, reminds me of my own build vids. While i can see Martin's influence in your workflow I hope you don't rely too heavily on trends like epoxy putty welds and texturing everything because you think you have to. Those are pretty new trends, and they have their place, but I find them overkill on every build. But as long as it's fun I guess. Well done man.
@@quadegermany2200 I made a sharp triangle out of a pop can, barely rounded the tip so it’s still kinda sharp then I bent it over a tooth pick. It all depends on how much you round the tip before you bend it. I made a ton of them before it worked. You can heat the metal before for better results in bending
Im watching it the 1000th time and i See that you have shortened the build to much can you show the next time a bit more of the build i mean construction
Excellent
Thanks!
I have watched this before but it is done well enough to be enjoyed more than once. Very thoughtful presentation style and nice build

Great job buddy! I enjoyed it very much. keep it up!
Thank you very much!!!
Very impressive!
Thank you!
Perfect thank you! I was looking on how to do Night Shift’s technique on a tamiya as the weld lines are slightly muted on tamiya’s. Thank you
Thanks! He’s a huge influence! I was a little disappointed with the weld lines, and I think it would have been easier on the Takom kit…
