While most bands bent genres, 5 Feet Under stayed true to their rock roots with a full set of hard-hitting classics played so perfectly, it was easy to forget this band was loaded with lawyers. Rocking for Glendale Sunrise Rotary Foundation with talent from Bradley Gmelich & Wellerstein; Pope & Gentile; and X1, the band set the energy to eleven from the start and never backed down. Their inaugural Law Rocks performance included high-energy hits like Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Working for the Weekend” by Loverboy, and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”. The audience was loudly singing along, and the judges were clearly aligned as they awarded them the coveted Judges’ Choice Award.
