I'd like to point out that Captain Waffle's first priority in his mission to preserve history is to stop the Hill Droids from interfering with the Holocaust.
Does this mean that they prevented the holocaust in the Spinal Breakers universe or did they just stop the hildroids from doing it instead? I'm so confused. Help me, Captain Waffle.
The only part of this game that makes any sense is using the power of waffles to save the world. I'm still trying to wrap my head around an auto-scroller having a time limit.
I'm kinda shocked how this game found a way to fit everything and anything into this game, and tried their hardest to wrap some sort of story around it all. From concentration camps to body horror. I looked up the bad ending, it's...pretty dark. Don't know how to get to it though: Maybe it's continue based?
According to the Sonic Wings wiki, if you let the timer run out on any stage, then you get the bad ending. If you have to continue, but the timer never ran out, then you get the neutral ending.
So the three endings are: Good, the ending they got. Neutral (if you use a continue), Waffle gives up on saving Earth and flees with his family to the space station; then Waffle is a hildroid. Bad (if you "run out of time" somehow), Waffle decides to give up and flee but before he can maroon earth, he discovers his wife and daughter are hildroids and shoots them without a moments hesitation; contrary to what someone in chat said, there doesn't appear to be any indication that he kills himself after doing this, we only hear two shots. This game's all-around sub-par; the surprisingly-dark bad endings are the only thing that makes the game somewhat notable. I like how both the neutral and bad ending have Waffle flee with his tail between his legs when literally the first mission of the game is fighting to ensure that the Holocaust stills happens; after that, Waffle doesn't give a shit what happens to the rest of time.

When they mentioned America I expected the final stage to be 9/11 related even though this was made in the past.
