    The happy planner does have twin loop coil options, if you would prefer those. :)

    I use both Erin Condren and Happy Planner because I love both for different reasons! I have one very functional planner and a decorative planner in which I even add photos to document special moments throughout each week.

      Ohhh love that you use one just for decorating and memory keeping, that’s a great idea!

    If you use the metal discs the pages turn much smoother.

    I've been a discbound planner and lover since well before 2013. Happy planner met my needs for price point. I just don't love spiral-bound notebooks or planners. I was the kid that cut my notebook paper so I didn't have to open the rings. Bought Japanese style binders for was of use. Fought with teachers to not use use standard spiral notebook ID required.

    I started using a happy planner a few weeks ago, and I love decorating the pages with tons of stickers! Such a fun way to be creative.

    Haha, we’re all different. I love discs. For work I can print, laminate pages, punch things I reference all the time and put them in and out. I hate bindings, rings and spirals because I can’t add or take away pages. I also hate writing near the middle of the page with my hand on a big old spiral or rings… with Discs I can pop out the page, write on it and pop it back in… no binding bothers.
    I do have a hobonichi a6 as my take with me planner because discs are too big in my purse and I journal in binder journals too, but for my daily planners- gotta be discs. Love memory planning in my big planner. My teacher planner has got to be discs because it takes full sheets for work add-ins and I have so much space to write in. And I can frankenplan planners together for different needs… daily sheets,health,wellness, kids,home, faith and on and on.

      Love that! I think I could get used to the discs if I tried though. I do love that the pages can be removed, and you’re right, taking out a single page is such a major Pro. 🙌🏼 And YES to Frankenplanning! That’s the most fun part!

      I am the same! I love how I can rearrange things based on my current priorities. Most of all, I could reuse all of the ununsed pages.

    I have used Happy Planner and the dashboard layout is my fav😊

      So glad to hear that! Of the three I’ve seen so far, the dashboard looks like it’s the most versatile.

    I have tried many planners in my life but never used consistently. I retired a couple of years ago and needed to re-establish some structure and the Happy Planner filled my need for structure and creativity. I love being able to punch random lists/pages and add them in. So glad that you enjoyed them as well.

      Oh that's such a great way to use the Happy Planner! I agree, the ability to pop in additional pages is so nice. Happy retirement!

    I got my first classic planner at the beginning of the month of June, wish it started from June and not January 2023. So January through May seem to be a waste. I am going to decorate the pages as I go, no page will be wasted if it takes me two years to do it lol. I am now obsessed with The Happy Planner. I got a notebook today... I am soooo loving it.

      I LOVE HP notebooks too! And I also use their planners.❤

    • @lelaburris

      That’s weird that it didn’t start in July! Usually planners that start in January are sold Sept-Feb, then July start-dates start coming out in March. I totally get why you would be disappointed. 😕 But YAY for the new planner and notebook, they’re so fun!

    Welcome to Happy Planner land!! Play around with the brights.. You will find your vibe. Both styles are beautiful, I’m the same way. I love the clean natural feel but then I also love love black and white fun with bright colors. If you don’t already watch Happy Planner plan with Me videos. I would suggest.
    Planning with Bumble, Mojo Jojo Plans, Kell of a Plan, oh there are so many more.
    Have fun thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone! #happyplanning

    I loved watching you review HP! I've used HP since probably 2017 I think and have been obsessed ever since. I use a classic for everyday life and a big for work. I LOVE being able to add my random notes I jot down into my work planner. You popped up on my YT probably because of the HP mention. Now I'm going to go binge your channel. Nice meeting you. 😁

    Thanks for sharing! I’ve used Happy Planner for about 5 years now. Mostly a financial choice. Erin Condren is high end, but you get what you pay for. I still don’t like the disk. Wednesday writing is difficult and can be painful on my hand.

    • @lelaburris
      @lelaburris  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Totally makes sense, the layouts I’m Happy Planner are so nice! And yes, Wednesday writing is frustrating in pretty much any type of planner aside from softbound. 😬

    • @babs4767
      @babs4767 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      take the page out when you're on Wednesday and when you're done writing, pop it back in. That's one of the things I like about the discs

    HP use to have thicker paper but now its not as thick. I stopped using them a while ago but I do miss the vertical layout

    • @lelaburris
      @lelaburris  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that’s sad that they decreased the paper thickness over time. 😕

    I've been using happy planner since 2019 and now I've stopped using my planner all together. I used to put stickers in every week colorful pens everything I loved it and now I have one for this year and I've only written in it afew times this year and it's the bigger one aswell. So I need to find it and use it for the rest of the year. I don't want to buy a new one when I have 6 months left in the planner.

    • @lelaburris
      @lelaburris  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely agree, no need to buy a new one when you can pick up where you left off. 🙌🏼

  • @pennybast3953
    @pennybast3953 ปีที่แล้ว

    the wide variety of layouts and color schemes is because Happy Planner knows that we don't all like the same thing. there are quick, easy solutions for when the discs are "sticky" and the pages are hard to turn.

    • @WhatBeckyDidLastNightOfficial
      @WhatBeckyDidLastNightOfficial ปีที่แล้ว

      pretty please can you share what those tips for the discs are :) ?

    • @pennybast3953
      @pennybast3953 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@WhatBeckyDidLastNightOfficial Absolutely. The one I use is to spin the discs while the planner is closed. It wears the paper a microscopic amount, so they move easily without compromising the planner's structural integrity. The other one I've heard of is to rub dryer sheets on the discs. Also, I find the metal discs to be MUCH more user-friendly.
