36yrs old and relearning to skateboard with one leg and 2 crutches! Loving the learning process and getting better every time I go out on my board 😎🤘 I like sk8! That's for sure 😁👊😎 thanks @Braille for making this tutorial series 👍🔥💙
Heyy, its been going pretty epic so far, I learnt how to boardslide, ollie and drop in off a quarter pipe, I'm really close to landing my shuvits and kickflips. I got the flick part down easy for my kickflips, but cant seem to get my feet back on the board, I keep landing next to the board even after it fully flips and lands, maybe just commitment issues, gotta try jumping higher and staying above the board next time. Thanks for asking mate. How are you doing ?
In 2021 i brought my first skateboard because of this Channel. I now have a skate crew of 21 people who i gathered throughout my skating career. I am from South Africa , and skateboarding is slowly growing . I ask you Sponsor our crew with second hand skateboards as we use pretty messed up cheap boards. I love Skateboarding and i would like grow the community with active lifestyles and seeing more people skateboarding. Nevertheless i love the Braille Army1 ! My favorite skateboader is OUZIEEEEy!
So I did my first rolling Ollie today (FIRRRST TRYYYYY!) And I manualed 5-6 feet at the park today. Had a few shorter ones but my record is the five to 6 footer, I need to remember don't start it if I'm not going straight because that just makes things way harder. So reflecting on the attempts I got scared and instabailed/aborted the fact I was turning by leaning made it much worse than it already was. If I am in the right headspace I'm going to try the pop shuvit tomorrow. Skateboarding is quite a mental battle.
picked up a board about 3 years ago, car broke down so now its my main mode of transpoortation. im working on learning more tricks and i dont ever see myself stopping. its fun and a great way to unwind from lifes stress :)) has genuinely helped me. i love your videos and the way you explain the tricks
Nice work Aaron! My wife is getting me a skateboard for my 40th birthday. I will be using this as a guide. It's been 15years since I would shred the streets. Been a fan for a long time.
@@brailleskateboarding thanks for the support! I have been fighting illness but hopefully rolling out. The freedom of skateboarding can be as healing as any medication.
just started skateboarding at 19. I don’t have the best flat ground for learning so I jumped right into going downhill after a couple hours and took my first big spill yesterday. Now that I have been humbled I am less scared of what can happen and i’m committed to getting better so I can make it down that hill lol
I love that bootcamp! Learning fs 180 and practicing ollie, dreaming about pop shove it! Really clear explanations, everything is done great ! Thank you)
I would love to be in a next vid as a comment, I am 32 and I have started skating again because of this series, I been skating for years but feel like I'm too old. Really love all these videos even though I knew all these tricks back in the day they’re giving me the tips to learn them all over again now that I started skating again at 47
i feel like another important step that helped me is to watch the board the whole shovit so you know when to land back on even if you over rotate. Geat vid AK 🔥🔥
ive not skated in like 10 years and when i saw this video i grabbed my skate board and tried to see if i could do a pop shuv it and i did it FIRST TRY!!
Hey Aaron, i‘ve been watching the series throughout the weeks and i‘m looking forward for the next episodes. When are they going to come? Loving these videos ! I’m Treating it like a real boot camp Lol so I don’t stop till I get the trick , even if it means 10’000 attempts without resting 😂. Just like real boot camp I was exhausted, but I landed the trick finally!!!
Thank you so much for your help for your videos for everything aaron u always the best i progress so much bcz of ur tutorials now i can ollie and shove it and i will try to learn how pop it
although, if the board keeps flipping over, can help a lot to position the tip of your toes at the centerline. which is kind of counterintuitive, popping on the heel side of the tail, but as long as your front foot keeps pressure on the toe side it counterbalances nicely. make BS pop shuvs pop really even. works for nollie and fakie bigspin, too.
Hello, Aaron Kyro, I am 31 years old, I followed your tutorial to learn skateboarding from 0, Thank you. By the way, when will the next tutorial be updated?
I tried to do it last night and I practised the motion as well but when I tried to land with my front foot it just turned out as a normal shove it so I'm going to try again today later on okay
