- Known as Britain's Roswell and as a famous Ministry of Defence cover up, the Rendlesham Forest incident became one of the most celebrated close encounters in the world. Strange lights and craft were seen by US Airforce staff at an RAF Woodbridge in England. The event occured over several days and a huge amount of evidence was taken. Sgt James Penniston got up close and actually touched a strange craft and had a message revealed to him by the visitors. Lt Col Charles Halt investigated along with a number of other airforce personnel and chased the craft through the trees. He recorded the incident on audio tape and we included some of the recording in this film.
We read the Rendlesham Enigma by Jim Penniston and Gary Osborne and visited the site in researching this video
Despite the testimony of many credible witnesses, the UK Ministry of Defence has stated the event posed no threat to UK National Security…

And I add, when Suffolk police was called to the scene, find nothing but the Orfordness Lighthouse in the distance... Returning on daylight, they find the "fisical evidence" in the form of "land markings" were rabbit diggings.

In 1988 I was a British civilian working at the base at Bentwaters, just down the road from the Woodbridge base. There were still many US personnel who were there at the time, and they all said the same thing. Whatever it was, it wasn't of this Earth. I've also been out to Rendlesham Forest to the site, and I can say the official explanation, that the airmen saw the lights of the Orford Ness lighthouse is bollocks. The lighthouse is around eight miles away, and the light would not be particularly bright at that distance, even if you could see it. Being in the middle of a densely wooded forest means there was no way it would have been visible.

I think it might of been a made up UFO story to cover up the real thing it was ,what could it of been ? How about a top secret satellite,and what would make it top secret NAVY ,what if you had a satellite that could detect submarine,s ? Just saying ?
It would be great to see a video about the Manises airport incident, when some pilots landing reported having red lights following them in the sky to disappear again, and a Mirage F1 fighter pilot also tried to pursue the lights. Some people blame this being related to the US and some kind of spy plane but would be great to see you making a video about it.

I’m not one to believe a lot of alien stuff yet this story and the P-51 incident are the two cases I genuinely believe in. I ain’t crazy over it but I believe them to be two real cases of unidentified flying objects

I think it has got to do with the Soviets. Maybe a disguised missile of some sort. Could explain the radiation.
I like how red light was reflected on the guy's face right when the narrator said "maybe even the Soviets." Not sure if it was deliberate or not but if it was, then bravo for the interesting detail.

the question is though that this time there was a lot of physical evidence collected, and numerous witnesses over a period of many days.
So what is the most plausible explanation that could explain all these sightings?

My wife and I and our two sons often stayed at the campsite close to this and we were there shortly after the incident and can confirm we saw the three indentations made by the craft , the forest does have an earyness about it we often walked after dark to see the glow worms and and listen to the Nightjars, we have no doubt that this incident did actually occur.

I have a theory on this, in Bangladesh sometimes there forms a type of toxic gas in the rice fields. It glows in the night looks like fog but with glowing colors. Local people used to think those are super natural creature and they would call them "ala-vula". They call those thing alavula cuz when ppl goes near it they halucinate and temporarily lose ability to think straight. I cant remember the exact elements of that toxic gas but it had one component that I can remember and it was "methane". Thanks
[update: I looked up on internet and found it was only high concentrated methane gas. If you inhale methane you will hallucinate, and rice field produces methane gas but dont know about other biom]

The radiation probably is just radiation from the workers working at the base... which just so happened to be rumored to carry nuclear weapons... (i do not know whether that's ture or not because whoever made this video or anyone else did not even bother specifying or anything)

Brilliant video! Always loved this case, like sure it was the days after Christmas but there's so much evidence that something must have happened.
Plus I've been to Rendlesham and it's a lovely place to take a walk, bet its quite creepy at night and in the winter though!
Man the way he makes the videos make them fun to learn and unlike others who makes scary videos he makes it look like a kid friendly video which makes it even more fun.

I live about 10 mins away from rendalsham and I normally go cycling there. I have camped there once and poked around there at night a few times. Unfortunately for the times I have been there at night I'm yet to see something "out of the ordinary"
though the times I have been there at night you hear things like humming noise's and twigs cracking and quick bursts of wind in your face where you think you would be sheltered from the wind
overall its a 10/10 place and the people who work there are amazing. (even though they stop you going in the Airforce base)

As stated we as a family saw the marks left by the craft shortly afterwards we often stayed there camping.

Though I read a bit about this 'incident' and a lot says that if it wasn't a hoax, it could be misinterpretation of some observations made these nights. The nearby lighthouse wasn't mentioned in your video at all. The main thing is, whether personal reports are true or are made up - I think here is the main point to discern. Well... like in many other cases as well. All the best! :)
One more thing. Detected radiotion levels: the were higher at some points but they were still like only twice the noise level. It might be intriguing what was the cause, but it was still very low. I wonder if other areas of the forest exhibit a constant level of radiation or there were similar deviations which could be just of a natural characteristics of the terrain.

I've heard this story many time's, never were photos by Penneson ever revealed...or mentioned, even by the guy himself.
A quote from Jim's book "An uneasy end to the year became evident when on Wednesday, December 31, 1980 (New Year’s Eve), I went back to the Base Photo Lab to pick up the developed photos. I had been looking forward to this. However, I was told that unfortunately there was nothing to see, as all the photos had come out “fogged . . . all whited out.” I took a look through the pack that was handed to me and couldn’t believe what I was seeing, as the USAF camera we were issued with was the Canon A-1, considered good quality military stock. To say I was upset and disappointed is an understatement."

I actually read about this a few years ago . I read it was the British SAS playing a prank on the base because of the way they were treated by them.
