I’m going to die someday when my heart stops.
Wow, I just predicted my own death and I’m not even a celebrity.
    Amazing...

Decades of alcoholism made predicting reeds death not a hard prediction.

Wasn't James Dean's car supposedly like cursed or something? I think I remember seeing some kind of program about that. That people felt uneasy around the car or something like that. And then didn't the wreckage disappear later on from storage?

George Barris, a promoter, was the source of the "curse" legend, claiming he was the first to purchase the car, show it around, and sell parts from it that "doomed" other cars. None of his allegations were factual, he was just trying to get people to pay him more for extra thrills. There was a book written about some of the stories, but none can be proved, even though there are hundreds of people who insist that their dad, uncle, friend or neighbor was at the scene of whatever happened....this kind of carnival promotion gets set in concrete in the national consciousness and people get intensely upset when they learn none of the stories are true....some parts from the car may have been sold, but they were so damaged by the crash as to be structurally unsound, so not something to be used. There are plenty of gruesome photos of the crash that show the car crushed to aluminum foil....

I think Fisher's mom, Debbie Reynolds (Hocus Pocus, Singin' in the Rain), should have been mentioned with the stuff she was saying about being with Carrie as she was dying. Theirs were the most impactful deaths in Hollywood in part because of that, and seeing how much they loved each other.

I know it's the opposite of a prediction, but the "Don't Look Back in Anger" SNL skit of an elderly John Belushi dancing on the casts graves is eerie af

the fact that carrie fisher's mother died literally a day later out of pure, utter heartbreak (at least non medically) is equally sad, tho not predicted

Wait...did you say that James Dean was involved in a crash with someone who’s last name was, “Turnipseed”?!?!
Wow, what an odd last name, at least to me!
Edit: I just looked up the information, and the guy’s last name was indeed turnipseed, but spelled, “Turnupseed”. I am 44 years old, and had never heard that bit of trivia regarding that crash... The More You Know!

With Brandon Lee, the similar film plot about the fake bullet being swapped out for a real one is no coincidence. Bruce Lee and his son were both taken out.

Well, that Dean interview was a kind of PSA for it's time. It was staged.
