    Has potential, especially at that entry level price.

    You will need to shim the mount or use a mount with build in additional MOA. This is common for .22LR or Air Rifles with these type of sights.

      Thanks for watching! Yes, this is a solvable problem.

    I think if you had ya scope sitting as low as possible it would be much better. Your sight height must be 3 inches at least by the looks of it.

    While magnification is a benefit in the 21st century, compared to the old flip-up peep sights or buckhorn style, these optics are massive bulky behemoths. Hahaha

      Thanks for watching! They offer a lot of features but the drawback is definitely increased size and weight.

    Many reviewers are not telling you: 1. this scope is NOT 4K when looking into the eyepiece.
    2. No why in the God that you can replace those batteries. 3. No Blu3tooth

    • @TheOldFatDadGoober
      @TheOldFatDadGoober  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching! Sorry I missed those points! I don't think anyone has a 4k eye piece. It's such a small screen it wouldn't make a different. As far as the batteries go, they are removable. Is that a bad thing? Because I like that. And there is no Bluetooth that I could find.

    • @angelisone

      @@TheOldFatDadGoober My Sony camera's viewfinder has almost 3.7M. No # to tell dots on scope's viewfinder.
      I hate to say it but you simply CAN NOT remove & install those batteries.
      Look it very carefully from their site or the photo.
      The scope's tube has no optics, two ATG/Samsung batteries sleep inside.
      We use a TV more than a digital rifle scope. So 2 years come up pretty quickly & you used less than combine 61 days. And batteries not holding a charge or the lousy USB is worn out. You are out of luck.
      Batteries (2:08) have to be installed in China & you have to pay for S/H/I and be without a scope for weeks.
      And you have to fork out $110 (check your manual about those batteries).

    • @TheOldFatDadGoober
      @TheOldFatDadGoober  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@angelisone I honestly have no issues with the viewfinders resolution. If anything, I wish it was less because they information is printed so fine it can be hard to read. As for the batteries, I know you can remove and replace them because mine are sitting in front of me removed while the scope is not in use. I'd be happy to post a video short showing you if you don't believe me.

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheOldFatDadGoober You really need higher resolutions as possible. Because this and many IR or Thermal are digital not optical scopes. I am referring to TWO Batteries that are parked inside of the scope's tube.
      Those batteries CAN NOT be removed by buyers.
      Like saying many can not remove & change the battery on Iphone 15 & Samsung S25 series.
      Again, those 2 (batteries) are parked in the scope which is the horizontal (tube) position.
      You are correct like many reviewers say you can change the top (vertical) batteries with a 18650.
      The scope has a total of 3 batteries.
      In regarding to resolutions: would you prefer watching a large TV @ 720P or 4K?
      Or rather listening from an 8 track tape or ATG audiophile sounds?

    • @TheOldFatDadGoober
      @TheOldFatDadGoober  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@angelisone I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I don't see any benefit to super high resolution view finders. As far as the batteries, I'll double check, but I pulled two out of my scope and I really don't see any place for more. Also the scope doesn't seem to turn on when they are removed.

    What 22lr tactical rifle, do you recommend, starting from scratch? My older rifles have the old dove tail mount, which pretty much sucks. Not a beginner shooter though.

    With 22 lr you have to have 20 moa or 40 moa scope rails .i have the Atn 4k pro basically the same as this you basically want your 0w and 0E you want the scope already pointed as close as possible to the point of impact before you adjust anything that’s why ether purchase adjustable scope ring mounts I recommend FX no limit scope mounts or just buy a 20 moa or 40 moa scope rail mount for your particular firearm YOU’RE WELCOME and remember the ATF IS GAY😂🫡

      Good luck finding the thermal scope that can be viewed at 720P for under $16,000.00 like mine.
      Most thermal scopes have very lousy viewing resolutions.

    Be serious that's not good at all . Having to mess about with elevation at different distances. Get rid . You pay for what you get.

    • @TheOldFatDadGoober
      @TheOldFatDadGoober  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for watching! Every scope is going to have to make adjustment for distances. The big problem I have is that in it's current setup, there is not enough adjustment to zero at close range. With some shim work or a MOA base you could fix the issue. Just a bummer that it wasn't ready to go out of the box.

    • @catherineharris4746
      @catherineharris4746 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It sets itself automatically once you set-up your scope to your gun, the elevation has to be set at a minimum of 2 inches above the barrel for close shots because it's NOT made for close up shots is what I found out.
