Does the v2 still have a "low latency" mode like the v1 to eliminate the jello effect lag, or has the jello effect been eliminated? If so can you adjust X/Y in "low latency"? I have a v1 which I use with a pvs14 and in low latency mode there is no way to get each eye to overlay nicely as there is no way to offset the image in X/Y.
IRay USA's reply was "With the fast 60hz refresh rate of the V2 there is virtually no distinguishable latency. The image is very stable even when panning fast side to side, or while scanning from a moving vehicle. (Yes) you can adjust the screen position to better align with your vision or nvg setup. While there is no actual "low latency mode" it is a feature that is built into the processing."
Weaker body, less resolution, no PiP, and no LRF. I don't see a reason to upgrade, even with the increased refresh rate and larger screen. Guess I'll be waiting another couple years for the V3 or the PFN640+v2.
@@ngaoutdoors4157 magnesium is weaker than aluminum. Well documented. Less resolution read the spec sheets. you'd never used pip or lrf if you don't find it useful. It was designed as a clip on first. Thanks for being wrong on all counts.
@GldenRetriever magnesium is lighter. The v1 was heavy. 640x480 is going to give you the same exact detail as a 640x512. The only difference is the v2 will be 5:4 instead of 4:3. This is an advantage when paired with a larger eyebox because we do not need vertical pixels in a 1x device. Sure there's 10hz more refresh, but the real win for this refresh is the
@@billyyoung1630 It's ~1.5oz heavier. That's basically nothing. I'd take that increased weight for the vast improvement in durability. More pixels in the core, the better. vertical or horizontal. Larger ocular lens (paired with larger screen) is better, but can go unnoticed when used in a clip on role with an LPVO/MPVO. If I wasn't going to be running a clip on, I wouldn't get this optic. Yes, the temp sensitivity is really the biggest upgrade for this unit. Everything else (USBC, larger eyepiece, more colors, throw lever, etc) really aren't worth the 1k (msrp to 2k used) difference for me. PiP is a benefit regardless of it being a 1x or not and regardless of if it is being used in a clip on or dedicated. having 2 magnifications on screen at the same time is a huge bonus. It's for when you want a wide fov while also having an enlarged image of the target (be it for observation or for precise aiming).
Looks awesome. I have the rh50 640 core scope but i'd like an rh25
Mine did not come with the mentioned mounts

Awesome, thank you for this. I couldn't find this anywhere else. Appreciate it.@@AnodyneActivity
They add the "low latency" function inside as a default in V2. So there's no jello effect lag at all.
