How long did you run the bike with the mods and no tune? I got an intake and exhaust I want to throw on the bike but don’t have a tune for her yet. Scared to blow her up!
Matty Cake Rides awesome to hear lol do you ever have any issues with it causing the bike to run any different? Such as idle issues or stalling out or like having issues starting up?! If it doesn’t cause the bike to really run in any negative ways I might just install all my stuff and ride until i can get a tune lol
thanks bro. you're gonna have so much fun on your z125 it's so weird but i rather ride the z125 instead of my fz09 lol. if i would have to sell one i would sell the fz09 probably. About the exhaust my friend installed it for me you would have to take the crowl off and i think it was only 3 bolt. He installed it within 10 mins! i love it its the best exhaust for the bike. well enjoy your bike and do great mods to it. if you sub i will have some mini rides. have fun and be safe on that bike.

Funny, I was going to buy the new FZ-09 for my first bike but I was nervous and thought this little Z125 would be a perfect entrance into motorcycles even though it's not really a proper bike just a lot of fun. Maybe I'll get the FZ-09 next spring. I rode around the neighborhood a few times when I got it home but I need my endorsement and some riding gear. Take care man!
Jeckyll859 yo the fz09 is a great bike if you like that torque it would spank mostly all the liter bikes off the line. But it's a little dangerous lol if you don't have throttle control you can loop the bike so easily! But yeah get the hang of Z125 first then maybe upgrade to a fz07? Or if you don't want to waste money get the bike you really want! Also always wear gear! I live in Las Vegas and it's really hot here!!!

Johnny williams I feel like the Z has way better handling and it dips into the turns while the grom to me felt like a scooter. But other than that it’s the same bike. Z is cheaper I would go with the Z lol

I like all three, and can see how I might end up with one of each eventually, but for a first small bike, I really want the TNT but not sure if I would be able to find everything I want for it. I know I can get the sprocket, but can’t find engine cage or sub cage, and don’t want to wait for two years u til someone comes out with them.....
Best gearing is 15 30 or 15 32. This brings rpm down 500 or slightly more to get 50mph at 6k rpm and save fuel. And top speed 72mph. Also 15t front corrects speedometer. Stock rear is 30 but going up 32 helps if you can't hit limiter stock.

Yo wassup man! Yeah the OTB runs lean and no power commander! It's gets to 60 quick! I like it with a rawring sound!

When you installed the exhaust did you do anything else to it ? Some people get a check engine
Daniel Zajac had the exhaust for a while now. No check engine light. It just runs lean
