    Thanks for all your information, great video. I am an avid golfer, walk the courses in the summertime, and assume with selecting the golf exercise option on the Fitbit charge 5, the device can take the normal jarring actions when the club hits the ball or the ground on my swings. i get my Charge 5 tomorrow, first time user, and will enjoy using it and also this summer playing golf.

    Hello! Is the alarm vibration strong enough to wake you up? How does the vibration strength on this watch compare to other watches? Would really appreciate it if you could answer this one. I'm considering buying it mainly for the accurate sleep tracking and smart alarm function.

    My Charge 5 had screen freeze and connectivity problems. Fitbit put a reset
    button on the charging cable but it only works temporarily. This watch
    was rushed to market with bugs. I switched back to Charge 4 many months ago.
    At least it was reliable.
    Google buying Fitbit means Fitbits days are numbered.

    • @FitnessWithFrost
      @FitnessWithFrost  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't say that Fitbit is bad at calorie tracking and apple is better, but the calories burned will be consistent and you can work off of that. If you are looking for better battery life I would go with Fitbit. Garmin also has some great watches with good battery life, but tend to be a bit bigger. How much are you looking to spend? Are you looking for something smaller or bigger?

    One last comment for ya. I know the Fitbit charge 5 does not have an Altimeter and somewhere I read that with steps it does not count going up and down steps. But with my Charge 5 today, mine does count the steps going up and down to my basement. i have 14 steps, and it counted them in the step counter. Whether that is true all the time I dont know. But it seems to count steps for me.

    • @FitnessWithFrost
      @FitnessWithFrost  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It 100% counts your steps up and down. It uses the accelerometer to count the steps. If you're moving it will count them. But at the end of the day those steps should be a drop in the bucket of your overall steps for the day
