Adobo sauce is a lot of things depending on if its european or asian adobo... In kents case you get a can of adobo chilis and pour the juice out of the can into the sauce mix and that is adobo sauce... god and all of america loves this man.

Who cares what it looks like, the breads only purpose is to provide some containment to the ingredients. It's the meat that makes a burger a burger not the bread.

@@shirokanzaki15 Adobo is a Filipino sauce. Fact. Philippine history, they were occupied by many colonial countries, including the Spanish & Americans. It would make sense though, that some of that influence, would trickle down to what we see today, but make no mistakes, Adobo, is a Filipino sauce, it may have had some influence from the Spanish, but ultimately, it is a mixture of Spanish & Filipino culture. That we can agree on. But saying it is full on Spanish is an insult to the Filippino people. I am NOT of 🇵🇭 ancestry, but I like to get my facts right.

There's actually 2 kinds of it Spanish and Filipino Adobo
I'm not familiar with the first one but since I am a filipino myself, Adobo here in the Philippines is so good :D
there's many variations of it here

@@zhongguojiayou2675 Sorry, but your facts are skewed a bit:
      - Adobo is not a "sauce", it's a method of cooking and a dish that's a result of that method. The method is basically cooking a meat and then marinading in broth.
      - Adobo is a Spanish word that means "marinade", so it was made by the Spanish. Period.
      - Filipino Adobo is a dish that was made in the Philippines since prior to the Spanish arrival, but the latter gave it the name due to the similarities with the Adobo method used in Spain. So it's not even a mixture of cultures, just the name given to an already existing dish.
