seen the butter chicken before this one. and I feel bad for the ingredients in this. jamie olive oil's butter chicken wasn't real butter chicken. but it was probably still a tasty dish. but this? so many ingredients wasted on a dish that doesn't even seem appetizing. with so much olive oil, coriander, soy sauce, so little tomatos and pepper, not even mentionning chilis... Prawns were killed,. tomatoes were plucked, peppers harvested, and olive oil was cooked for this pig slop... i'm so mad...

To be fair before rice cooker was invented, we cooked rice like that, not in a sauce pan though.

In Greece, sometimes we have legume dishes, including chickpea soup and we sometimes add rice to it and it changes the flavor so if you got any leftover, it doesn't feel as much like it. But yeah, curry with chickpeas, nobody does that.

What I fiund amusing is that he put the tomatos in the pan on the vine becuase he forgot to take them off. Then he took them out and removed them from the vine, but left all the green stalks on for some reason and esentially had to do the same step twice 😆

he's right, there is no problem with people who are not asian cooking asian food, if anything people are usually excited when you cook the food they grew up with well :) however the key word is well. its very necessary to respect food, and the most basic show of respect is 5-10 minutes of research into how to cook something right.
