I laughed when you suggested that the trio wear Anabeth's invisibility cap to hide or travel for free. Hephaistos wanted to trap Ares on the chair or keep the shield to punish him from having fun with his wife Aphrodite... He didn't want Percy's life.
This is by far my favorite episode 💙 The Mist hides Grover's legs so he can walk around in shorts if he wants to. This is the episode where I went from "I like Grover" to "I love Grover". His detective work is impressive, from boosting Ares' ego to tricking him into revealing some crucial information! The animation to show Hephaestus' story is really cool! That was Percy's waterpower not Poseidon. "Seaweed Brain" here we go! Percy not being after power and glory influenced Annabeth to "not be that way anymore" and I love that. Such an awesome parallel between their conversation on the train and this episode! The whole Waterland sequence is completely different from the book but I loved it! Like we don't meet Hephaestus, that was unexpected and really cool.
