Is there a way of automatically assigning a code to repeated words? For example, a respondent mentions observation, I want to code observation as a code, I write the code once, and MaxQDA will automatically find all the matching terms of observation and automatically code them.
Dear @DrDaveSalisburyPhDMBA, yes this is possible! For this you could for example use the Auto-Coding function for which you can find further information here: www.maxqda.com/help-mx22/lexical-search/autocoding-search-results. You can also use the Dictonary function in MAXDictio, which allows you to create dictionaries containing different keywords and you can then autocode your material using these dictionaries. You can find further information on this topic in our online manual: www.maxqda.com/help-mx22-dictio/autocode-documents-with-dictionary-categories. All the best from the MAXQDA team!
