I suffer from serious long term ill health and disability, which has resulted in me being unable to eat or drink anymore, having to use a wheelchair, fainting a lot and having other horrible symptoms. A lot of my friends don't really talk to me anymore and so I've become really lonely. I love BookTube and it has helped me a ridiculous amount. Your videos really helped to inspire me to start creating - and I just wanted to tell you that and thank you! I really enjoyed this haul - I particularly want to read We were liars and one of us is lying. 📚🤓

you should really read the new lord of shadows. because in the finished copy, ty and kit dont put it out there that much they want to be parabatai, but my theory they're going to be more. since kit said that when he kissed livvy that it didn't feel right. also on one of the book jackets there's a family tree, I'm pretty sure Clockwork Princess, Lucy herondale and Jesse Blackthorn do get together I'm not sure if anyone noticed Jesse is twelve years older. so I don't know what difficulties are going to show up in The Last Hours.
Oooooh the His Dark Materials Trilogy! Oh my god am I excited for this. I read this series before I even read harry potter (yes, that young, I believe I was 12-13) and safe to say, I didn't understand a lot what was going on. It's a very interesting blend of science and the belief system in a world that's similar, yet extremely different to ours. It has great characters, but the story doesn't really start until book 2, The Subtle Knife. Dear LORD, those last two books were a ride. You have to be careful while you read these books. If you read it in a hurry you'll miss out and probably end up not understanding a good part of what's going on. I guess I'll reread them now, so that I can relate better to your book talk. Have fun!
I recommend *The Ghost of Buxton Manor by Jonathan L. Ferrara*. It's a gay romance with some ghostly paranormal elements and it's loosely based on Rupert Buxton and Michael Davies (the inspiration behind Peter Pan). You should really check it out!
So is The Golden Compass the American title of The Northern Lights, or is The Northern Lights the British title of The Golden Compass? I'm guessing the former, as Pullman feels like a very British author, but I could be wrong. Looked it up, Northern Lights came first. Pullman is from Norwich, which is in England.
