Amein! Thank you Baruch for posting this. When people were going around saying to fast. I knew it wasn’t correct. I posted your teaching of Isaiah 62. That way they’d listen to your teaching and understand what that chapter truly means. Yet, at times it takes a post like this one to make it more clear to those who want to follow their own thinking instead of TRUTH! Have a good Shabbos! Prayers for the Synagogue in Middle, Ga an antisemitic rally was going on last night during sabbath. Thankfully the police got involved and the man got arrested. Also, where we live at antisemitic flyers were left in front of the doors. It’s unheard of when it’s outside of the cities.

Thank you for addressing this issue. When I first read about it, i thought it was good but after a bit of research and prayer I was convicted that it wasn't sound. Thank you for explaining the theology. In these times, discernment is essential for all believers.
May GOD continue to bless and expand your ministry.

Just a thought here. From what I've learnt about Daniel, there are 2 "food changes" that Daniel mentioned.
His first one in Daniel 1 is that 10 day vegetable diet to obey the Lord's food instructions. He was a young man and acted faithfully.
The second food change is in Daniel 10 as an older man. Limited his food choices for 21 days as he wrestled with troubling visions the Lord presented (that's what I understood. Maybe I'm wrong?) The Lord blessed valued that. It sounds like a pleasing act of faith to the Lord. Official "fast"? I don't know. But the Lord did appreciate Daniels efforts.
Hmm... I will pray for understanding and keep learning the scriptures.

Thank you for exposing false teaching, and confusing doctrines to confuse people who are trying to understand the bible and the word of truth.

Doctors agree that the human body can only go about 3 days without water, so perhaps that's why a 3 day fast will work. Anything more than that, you could possibly die.

A fast is good but best done in the Law of God as a community and only for as long as He commands I do not listen to people just follow Biblical instruction, The Word is quite clear, do not follow the world

Mike Bickle has a great heart for Israel, but he believes the Church will be here until the very end of the 7 years. I have never agreed with him.
The reason for 21 days was that they had a 21-day "fast" in 1983 based on Daniel and Joel 2:15 (solemn assembly) on the same dates as the one in 2023.
Daniel 10 says Daniel was mourning and limiting his food for 21 days, which I guess he thought he was humbling himself before the Lord, and thought that would please the Lord. So a sort of food restriction, even though not a fast.
"At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over."
If we all stopped joining together in prayer because of differing views of eschatology, I think that would not be helpful. I am sure during WWII there was a lot of joining in prayer of Christians with very different doctrinal views.
