    What an amazing transformation! I love that you've taken someone's precious handiwork and made it beautiful again. BTW, I love when you share videos like this. I love your knitting episodes too, but I'm here for all the things. Thanks for sharing your Abuela's recipe.

    I am so impressed by all the work you did to restore that piece. It is lovely and the original maker is smiling down on you from someplace for giving that embroidery the love it deserves. Also, I will be using that paste on anything I need to whiten.

    Wow, that turned out beautiful. My mom has sent me many embroidered pillowcases. They are in my linen closet. I'm going to look them over and start using them. Now I want to go thrifting.

    Bravo Marilisa! The fabric even puffed-up and looks so soft…Thank you for the cleaning paste “recipe” ! I always thought that peroxide should be good for stains but I could not think to combine with soap. Now, I want to embroider a pillow case like that. 😂

    If a stain is new it's a lot easier to get out but when it's something old set into a vintage quilt it's harder to get out. But I have learned that white vinegar really does a lot

    Thank you for the information. I'm always so scared to wash them for fear of color fading. Question. When you iron them, do you use the steam setting?

  • @MrImog65

    Temu has a thing that takes off peelings and it works really good but you have to lightly do it don't press too hard.

    Whats the recipe, soap bar, hydrgen peroxide and??😮😅ok i got it, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!😅thanks! I have gorgeous embroidery items and they are almost perfect then i see a big round brown spots that are stubborn this will work❤ i used a little oxiclean, didnt work

    • @marilisalugo
      @marilisalugo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I dont like oxyclean, feel it doesnt work for me or is too abrasive. Good luck! Use the sun exposure, it works wonders. Keep it moist while out

  • @MrImog65
    @MrImog65 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Okay so you were washing it and then while it was wet you put the paste on it scrubbing it then did you rinse that paste back off or did you leave the paste on it and set it in the sun then rinse

      Yes! You can use whatever bar soap thats free of any fragrance and extra perks. I lately use castille soap. Hope it works for you, if the stain doesn’t lift, use the sun exposure
