Hey you ship with depop they automatically take out the money soo lets say the item was $10 and the shipping was $4.50 once the person pays the $10 depop will take the shipping out of that if your paying for it so you will only get $5.50. When ship with depop they send you the shipping label which is already paid for so you just have to drop it off 😊 i hope this helped
Astrid Melendez yea you can get packages for free at the post office. All their boxes and envelopes are free (i believe you can only use the flat rate priority ones but im not sure ) . I just like to have my own packaging ❤️

Hey if you didn't know already, you can get free sticker labels from ups and usps. You can order them in a roll (they're usually glossy) and the single sheet ones are usually matte. Thanks for all your advice though! Just subscribed, you sound like such a sweet person🥺

I think they only pick up letter like that but you can always try it and if they dont take it you can go to the post office and drop it off it the blue bins or inside
In general, one package would have to be priority mail in order for them to pick it up....(I Do Ebay as well and that's how it works for larger packages). Anything smaller that DOES fit in the mailbox, I don't have to schedule a pick up. Hope that helps! :)

Sandra Houghton so if you dont have a printer you will have to ship on your own. You can go to the post office to get the label. If you have a printer you can ship with depop which is pretty easy, they send you the label and you just tape it to the package

Buying a shipping scale is just to be safe and not get any packages returned if you put the wrong size scales are only like $20 . You can use some of usps free packaging I believe is priority Or you could buy some polymailers from amazon the size depends on what u are selling.
Your question points out exactly why you need a scale. If your package weighs 15.99 ounces or less, you can use First Class package and it will cost about half of what Priority Mail costs. A scale pays for itself.

Genesis Ordonez i dont think you can print at the post office . I would ship on my own that way you can take it to the post office. When you ship on your own you can still charge the buyer for shipping too.

depop only works with paypal. you can add your bank direct deposit but after you set up your pay pal and if you ship with polymailers is the same so you take them to usps
i have been arranging my own shipping with paypal and it has worked fine so I was like oh its cheaper for me to send jeans with depop so I did. but depop took the shipping label price from the price of my item so only three dollars were sent to my paypal when it should have been around ten dollars. has this ever happend to you because iam so lost????

You are supposed to weight the item when ur listing it. When you ship with depop they send you a label that is already paid for so you just have yo drop it off.
When you ship it out do the buyers automatically get a notification letting them know it has shipped. Also when shipping with depop do they always get tracking?

Hi! I was wondering how you can input the tracking number into Depop? I inserted the tracking number into PayPal but was not sure how to do that on Depop. For everything I have bought, I can see the tracking info, when it was shipped, and when I received it. However when I go to the sold tab, I only see the status as being “needs to be shipped” even though it’s already been shipped. Didn’t know if there was a way to fix this or if the buyer is the only one who can see that?

They dont tell you how much it is but its always going to be 10% of every sale

if you under charge for shipping you packages might get returned to you and you will have to buy a new label!

i have been arranging my own shipping with paypal and it has worked fine so I was like oh its cheaper for me to send jeans with depop so I did. but depop took the shipping label price from the price of my item so only three dollars were sent to my paypal when it should have been around ten dollars. has this ever happend to you because iam so lost????

You are supposed to weight the item when ur listing it. When you ship with depop they send you a label that is already paid for so you just have yo drop it off.

How do you get a tracking number to let the buyer know where their package is at?
When you ship it out do the buyers automatically get a notification letting them know it has shipped. Also when shipping with depop do they always get tracking?
yess buyers are always able to see their tracking info and depop always provides tracking if you ship with them

when you ship with depop is done through usps ! do you have any blue bins near you? you can also schedule pick ups
Look for the blue USPS mailboxes! They are spead out and in the most random places. There probably is one of those near you :)
UPS doesn't accept packages with USPS labels on them.

Since the person already paid for shipping you can’t really change it but you can go edit ur other listings to make you they are shipping with depop

I personally dont do anything because it could be a little annoying in my opinion specially if the are just another seller trying to network. Hi! I was wondering how you can input the tracking number into Depop? I inserted the tracking number into PayPal but was not sure how to do that on Depop. For everything I have bought, I can see the tracking info, when it was shipped, and when I received it. However when I go to the sold tab, I only see the status as being “needs to be shipped” even though it’s already been shipped. Didn’t know if there was a way to fix this or if the buyer is the only one who can see that?

This is a nice video, but, Depop is nuts. SO not worth the time (for me, anyway).. Too many App issues, and annoying complications. Who has this kind of time when there are SO many other Apps and sites to make easy cash?
