Have been hopping around different channels to learn Polish. So far i find this channel is suitable for me in terms of speed and i really like the preview, the English translation and the duration on the videos
Very useful explanation. Thank you.🙏
I love these lessons! The content is very useful, the speed is is good, and it is really good how the text is shown in both languages while the words are spoken. These lessons enrich my life!

Thank you for making this terribly difficult but o so beautifull language more digestable❤
It is a great length of lesson. I do not think longer videos are necessary because even though the video is only 14 minutes, with taking notes it was 35 for me.
These are very useful lessons for people who are trying to learn English and Polish at the same time😊
thanks!
Hello! Thank you so much for your hard work and your useful lessons! I wonder if you could make a video about verb conjugation and also explain the difference between perfective and imperfective. Thank you so much beforehand and keep up the great content!

I’m a polish american, I want to learn polish to learn about my family history and visit Poland. I notice you have more of an English accent or so, will this impact the polish I’m learning from you? Like will I sound like a British person speaking polish or a polishing person speaking polish? I love your accent is just genuinely wanting to know. Thank you gorgeous!!
Thank you for a very interesting lesson showing some more Polish "dziwactwi(?)" of the language ("quirks or peculiarities" ) .
dziwactwa/dziwne rzeczy (strange things)/osobliwości (pecularities)
It's very useful lessons for people who try to learn English and Polish at the same time
😍
similar to Slovenian language. So cute.
Dzekuje. Maybe 'Czemu?' would best translate to 'How come?' in English. Like 'How come' is friendlier, less forceful than 'Why'.
Yes, I think that's the perfect translation actually!
In 11;27 , you used dlaczego tak myślisz ale tak means yes , No ? In This case it becomes think ?
'tak' in this case means 'so' or 'like this'. 'Myślisz' means 'you think'

7:03 Where is the restroom? I guess this is a better way to ask.
If you're using American English then yes :)
Why have you added a Z on to the front of the word robic here? Dlaczego nie "...zeby robic zakupy?
robić zakupy for repetitive/continuing action
e.g. Robię zakupy codziennie. Robię zakupy już od trzech godzin; Zrobić for completed action - e.g. Zrobiłam zakupy - I have done/I did shopping, Zrobię zakupy - I will do shopping
@@polishwithblondes Okay. I will remember this as the completed verb ones take extra letters because the action is finished/ more complete. Djiekuje!
In answer to" O ktorej bedziesz?" I am surprised people do not reply "O ktorej bede CO ?" because there is no tutaj in the question.
This is a clear message for us that someone means 'What time will you be here? (or somewhere they plannned to meet)
So could I say merely "Kiedy (or O ktorej godjina ) bedzie?" at ,for example, a railway station enquiry office to mean: What time will it (the train) be here? @@polishwithblondes
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wonder why people learn polish, must be a reason right? Not just for fun i guess.
To communicate with their Polish relatives or partners, and as a challenge :) These are the most common reasons we see
I'm actually learning it for fun. But no one ever accused me of being normal
Am an algerian and i got a visa for poland and i want to learn polish thank to this chanell@@jodywhitmarsh535
To find a cutie wife
bcuz my family uses it as a secret language when me or my siblings are around ^^
In that okropny word "przyjezdzaja", why are you pronouncing the a between the z and j as like the i that is in English high?
'j' is pronounced as 'y' as in 'yellow'
That's odd. Hoping not to bog you down in too much detail but as an aside WHY is birthday a plural noun? How can a person have more than one birthday?
I don't have a good answer to it, I guess it is what it is, the word is related to 'urodzić się'
@@polishwithblondes If anybody reading this knows why (birthday is plural in Polish) , do please let us know. Djiekuje!
On reflection, it might be that although each person has just one birthday, in their lifetime the birthday comes round more than once. However, to be consistent this logic would then have to apply for similar setting Polish words such as rocznica ślubu (wedding anniversary) and I am not sure that it does.
By the way, just out of interest please can you translate to English the Polish Happy Birthday song ? When I was in Poland last year I heard people singing:
"Sto lat, sto lat, niech zyje zyje nam. Sto lat, sto lat, niech zyje zyje nam. Jeszcze raz, jeszcze raz, niech zyje, zyje nam. Niech zyje nam"
@davidwright7205 I don't see why a FOREIGN language shouldn't have different rules. When you learn many languages you'll notice there are things we say that are illogical to others, like to shake hands, in Spanish they say darse las manos, to give hands which yes would make more sense, because hands aren't literally shaking. Also in the Spanish phrase feliz cumpleaños, the noun 'cumpleaños' is plural. I write this because trying to assume one language has more/less sense than another will only create for you unnecessary conflict/mental strife, I'm speaking from my own personal experience man.
I have heard that if you ask "Jak sie masz?" you might get a list of illnesses or a person's medical record in reply.
Hmm not really.. at least in most cases ;)
@@polishwithblondes Dobry!. "Jak sie masz?" jest nastepnie olgonie okay
Dobry!" "Jak sie masz?" jest olgonie nastepnie ok.
Kto tam stoi? koń

Swetnie video!
Your videos are too light
What do you mean? :)
I wonder how long it took you to gain that sweet Polish pronounciation ;)
Well I'm Polish so I guess I had it from the start :D
@@polishwithblondes 🤣omg :P I didn't know that, so I was looking for details in your Polish pronounciation indicating that you were not Polish, and I was hearing them... check that out :P Your Polish pronouncition is so clear and articulate :)
