i think i have caught up in just 2days your channel has something new to offer, i actually like the fact that you have featured academics for a bulk of your content,
Hi Fuzile. Thank you for the positive feedback. Indeed this channel is about car knowledge that is not readily available in other channels. Academics like teaching in their nature and they were very keen to share their experiences.
I am driving one of these. At first, it was chowing fuel, a lot! But after 5000kms it went down nicely. I am now avaraging around 7.5 per 100km (in town). On freeways, I am achieving 7.2 per 100 when driving with a sport mode. I'm still hoping to go below 7, though😂.
Thanks for sharing, @steventhulani3224. Indeed, it's a common observation that many Chinese car models initially seem to have high fuel consumption, which often improves as the engine breaks in over the first few thousand kilometers. Your experience where the fuel efficiency improved after 5000kms offers hope. It's impressive that you're achieving around 7.5 per 100km in town and even lower on freeways, even while using sport mode compared to the >9 mentioned by others! Hopefully, you'll manage to break the 7 mark soon. In addition, we're all hopeful that future models will start off with better fuel efficiency right out of the gate, reflecting improvements in engine design and technology. Thanks for sharing your experience!
This is very true for all Chinese cars we are seeing in the market (Chery, Haval, BAIC, Beijing). In a country like SA where the fuel price is very high it is something to consider and wonder if the technology is worth it. I experienced the Tiggo 7 Pro and realized that it is fuel hungry. Especially when using the "Sport" mode.
The latest is even MORE impressive but sadly mine stalls at any unpredictable moment!!!! Also the blue tooth connection is terrible and there is nothing they can do about it!!!!

Have you stopped doing videos now?
Not stopped per se. We went on a long break for several reasons, but expect new videos in the next two months or less.
Very interesting car…same colours
Please share more of your experiences brother,
@sethuelijah5342
@@pwmzansi I will do that after 90 days
Petrol consumption is too much, doing 13.5 is not what they told us😢
