Whats up guys just install the ford performance lowering shackles on my f150 first side I was having a hard time so couldn't record as good but the other side went really easy. Thanks for watching and like and subscribe.

Great install man, truck looks great! Just FYI for anyone who is doing this kit on a RCSB 4x4, you should use the Ground Force Suspension transmission shim. Because the regular cabs have a shorter wheelbase, the angle is more. So it helps to keep pinion angle correct. Like you, my truck doesn't have any vibes either!

Super cool mod! Thanks for the videos. I just bought Bilstein shocks for my FX4. Pretty sure they are for the 4wd. Will they work in the rear if I remove the blocks?
They will work I had my blocks and lowering shakles with stock 4wd shocks and never had a problem.

Yea its pretty much level iam happy with results. I was also thinking of Ford performance lowering kit but it's not a perfect level since it lowers front like 1.5 and rear 2.5

So you removed the rear block AND installed 1.5' drop shackles, no other suspension work correct ? So leads to my next question...
What's your wheels spec ? Wheels size (offset) and Tire size. Your setup look flush, is that true?

Yea I removed rear blocks and ford performance drop shackles nothing else.
Wheels are 20x10 -12 offset and tires are 275 55 20. They stick out about 1 and half nothing crazy.

Hey so removing the 1 1/4 block lowered your ride, how was the ride after that? Was it close to level? Why did you decide you needed the shackles Puget just removing the block?

Ride felt the same and decided to go with shackles to get complete leveled since rear end was still higher then front with just block removed. Your welcome
pro-tip.... order the 2wd rear axle u bolts when you delete the fx4 rear blocks.. you won't have 3 inches of thread sticking out and you won't run out of thread.

Cant you just cut the ubolts down? Also. This is the ford performance 1.5 inch drop shackles? Thats what the link you put in description said?
Just order the 2wd u bolts they are pretty cheap. Yea I bought the Ford performance drop shakles.
@@saulolalde7501 I had to order new ones because I run the bwoody traction bars and was running out of thread. I suppose you could cut them if you wanted too

Is dropping the back end of the truck 3 inches safe without adjusting any driveline angles?
The ford drop shackles came with pinion angle chims to ajust driveline angle
I'm doing the opposite of yours. I'm adding 2in rear blocks. I was watching American trucks and custom offset yt videos but they unbolted the rear shocks to get to the blocks but yours makes it simple by jacking the leef springs. Gonna try your way lol. Hope it's safe to do
Just make sure you do it on a flat surface and put something up front.
I was thinking of buying the full lowering kit but think this might work out perfect and be cheaper. What size are your rim?
It works perfect if you want just leveled and rims are 20x10 -12 offset
@@Eldela5.0. I’m thinking of buying the complete kit for my 2015 F150 with 20” wheels. Do you think that you be a problem and how would you do the front end differently than the lengthy instructions?
It all depends on wheel offset but if you have stock offset you should be good. You will need a tool to compress the springs they are tuff on these trucks lol I had to take a buddy's springs to a shop to get them compress since auto parts tool wasn't strong or safe enough.
Does it turn better and ride better ?
Not a big difference but feels like it takes curves better.
Forgot to ask if you had to modify the bed ?for the shackle drop?
No modifications with the ford performance shackles.

I just put mine on...also removed the rear block and bottomed out my ICONs...I love the stance with my terra 305/55R20 terra grapplers but the rubbing I get at max turn and hitting a bump...eesh...
I barely get any rub and onlyin the front but its cuz of the wheel offset and I only got 275 55 20 Cooper AT
What size tires you running? Did you have to trim at all?

It rode good with no vibrations and no alignment.
What size were the shims? 2 degrees or 2.5?
Iam not sure don't remember it's been a few years but getting ready too do it on my 22 soon.

Thanks... shackles drop it like 1 to 1 1/4 but I also remove the rear block to get leveled if you have a rear wheel drive you don't have a rear block.

I got 2 inch ford performance lowering shackles and removed 4x4 rear blocks. So like 3 inch drop total
