Hey, regarding the characters, considering it's a racing game, Ransack and Crumplezone from Cybertron would have felt right at home considering they're actual racers.

I really hoped Chicago from Dark of the Moon would make an appearance as either a race course or battle stage and over time the pillars would activate and you would see cybertron appear in the sky as you drive through the ruins of the battle of Chicago.
I think something else that can also serve as a “Bowser’s Castle” kinda track is Kaon City, I can imagine driving through Trypticon Prison/Station (if you choose to base this on Animated) as well as Megatron’s throne room, and maybe the Decepticon armory, maybe the big final section at the end of the lap is busting through the highest level of Trypticon prison/station or something.
Or Darkmount.

I can see Runamuck and Runabout as the final reward for a Decepticon campaign mode while Springer and Hot-rod are the final reward for the Autobot campaign. Maybe make it a cheap DLC or something.

I feel like theres a lot more potential for more alternate skins, like blue arcee from tfp, nemesis prime, g2 megatron, and knockout could be a jazz reskin (since hasbro can get away eith doing that) also consider the following; grimlock with rollerskates

I'm honestly surprised Transformers hasn't had a racing game before, I mean "robots that turn into vehicles", racing to -the death- victory, it's a slam dunk concept!
Edit: You mentioned a course where you eventually fall onto Metroplex, but a course where you're actually racing in their city form would be cool too, especially if it's a sort thing where as the race goes on, they slowly transform, changing the state of the track throughout each lap. I suppose this idea could also work with a Gen-1 Omega Supreme.
will say this a million times, only a true fan of something can make something like an obvious cashgrab sound like the most well made video game with an actual soul in it, collecting many iconic places and ideas from everything related to the franchise. Splendid job

For Jasper Nevada, maybe there could be a section where you enter a ground bridge into the autobot base, just to make it more interesting

It offends me that mirage and hound was not a considered pair, all jokes aside I love the idea and want this to be a thing so bad.
An intriguing idea I'd support. But to correct the item at 8:51 the gold liquid from the lagoon is called Electrum. Overall it looks great, though I am a little confused on how the courses would work on both the level from WFC involved with Trypticon in Space would work with ground vehicles and especially the level from FOC between the nemesis and the Ark ships. But I have faith it'll work out somehow
Maybe it could work like the rainbow road, but with debris and rubble instead of a magical highway.
the transport cables the decepticons used to do that? and maybe they could have the course change a bit each lap with the cables being destroyed and you need to use a further one?

I still can't believe there isn't a Transformers racing game, it's a no brainer
The golden lagoon would be interesting as a battle course, having it start off as a idyllic meadow and degrade into a bombed out wasteland over the course of the game, maybe even have the camera pan over to Beachcomber looking really sad at the end

Optimus primal - optimus prime skin with transtech style altmode
Cheetor - blurr skin (like in animated)
Blackarachnia - slipstream/arcee skin (maybe airachid inspired ?)
Wazpinator - starscream skin
Transmutate - arcee skin (funpub inspired)
Transmetal megatron - because T-REX ON ROLLERS (whats not to like ?) And the animation would be really funny AND grimlock could be a skin for him !

My dude i like to see override and hot shot in the race they are a litteral fast couple
Characters from Velocitron being bosses (Override, Ransack & Crumplezone along with the Stunticons) of certain courses would be amazing! I'd also suggest that Optimus and Megatron have skins based off different continuities - and for Optimus, he could wear MotorMaster's, Nemesis Prime's or even Toxitron colours like Transformers Devastation. I'd also include Armada Tidal Wave as well as Omega Supreme as tracks. Other tracks could be the city from G1 with the Ark and Mt St Hilary in that course too and RID 01's Global Space Bridge, which warps you to different locations where the Predacons are battling the RID 01 Autobots and players avoid being hit by the attacks between them.
The Stunticons should be replaced with Dirtboss instead ^^

Galactic trials seems to be making this slightly a reality! Tf racing game, yes its *half* a racing game!
Honestly I would love it if there was a track based off of MECH HQ. Racing around the track is auto bots and deceptive cons while evil humans are scrambling to figure out what’s going on. Who knows, we might see TP nemesis prime laying in the background somewhere.
Also had a few more skin ideas, like Optimus prime having a shattered glass skin, Megatron having a full black skin, Knockout having a scratched skin, and Breakdown having his Silas/zombie skin.
imagine how bizarre would be if this was real like imagine dragstrip yeeting like an energon cube while on top of brawn💀

Blitzwing in this game would be a combination of his g1 and animated personalities.
I have a more interesting idea: A combat racer in the vein of Twisted Metal and Jak X. Since that genre badly needs a revival. Even though the Double Dash successor is a cool idea, I prefer mine.

I feel like squeaks could be replaced with artillery/ an airstrike by the faction your character is, some other items could be a force field generator (that lets you get hit once), an emp that acts like the horn from Mario kart, and maybe a item that temporarily doesn’t let somebody switch which character is driving
This is absolutely beautiful. I want this to be a reality. Although I would maybe add an extra skin slot for Starscream, just because it feels wrong to see the Rain Makers incomplete

Absolutely adored the video and how you presented the concept! I never put any thought into it until I saw this video in my feed but it is really odd how there seemingly hasn't ever been a Transformers "Mario Kart Clone". Feels like a massive oversight, honestly.
I would love to see this concept expanded upon, since I think it's fantastic, especially with the emphasis on legacy characters/worlds that you put into it. Some DLC characters I can already imagine are maybe a hybridized "TFA/IDW1" Wreck Gar with Rum Maj, since the "swapping drivers" gimmick feels perfect as a nod to the Dare To Be Stupid bit from the 86 movie. For Beast Wars Rep, I'd actually like to see Transmutate and Rampage as racers just because the idea of a Crab Tank driving a motorcycle and vice versa is endlessly amusing/could make for an interesting shakeup to the roster.
Really phenomenal job with the presentation of this concept! The enthusiasm for it is infectious and I know I would give anything to see this be made into a reality lol

I would personally love to have the Junkions in there since they're kinda the originators of the whole Switching Places Dealio.
We need an intense F-zero like Transformers racing game. Additionally, I feel like each character should have stats based on their tech specs. Also, there should be a death battle mode, where each bot has a certain amount of HP and you are supposed to destroy all the bots while racing. Not only that, death battle can have an online leader board of the fastest victory times.
Finally, a Game where I can ride Windblade
Galvatron and that cool black and purple design from IDW could be alternate skins for Megatron
Nemisis and maybe his wfc/foc design could be used or put Ultra Magnus there and maybe put in a different character
I know Cosmos is universally decided to be the ref like Lakitu, but I'd love to race as him too (maybe team him up with Seaspray, idk). I don't care if I'm biased because he's my favorite Transformer, Crash Team Racing has taught me that driving a UFO in a racing game is sick! (Plus, having Cosmos playable as a racer is at least less jarring than having Lakitu playable as a racer)
Speaking of which, another funny idea I thought of is the two halves of Sky Lynx playable as well, not only being funny to have the animals riding on the others' vehicles, but also so they could have unique animations when paired together where the briefly combine and strike a pose.
6:20 honestly out of this cast of characters, my pick for favorite would either be Optimus, Obama, or bumblebee (if you don’t get it, in the lineup of characters, there is a image of Obama beside one of them)

Honestly feel like it would be better if every racer had a unique item (besides reskins, which get the item from the character) like Optimus’s axe. But also have team items, which a combo would have two team items, but the pair together could have it be upgraded. I also feel like Hot Rod and Optimus should be a pair because it would fit this concept.
Optimus’s item would be an axe, Hotrods’s would be fire. Their team items would be a slash from the star saber. But their combined team item would be a beam from the matrix of leadership, like in prime.
Bumblebee could probably be Grimlock’s partner instead because of their friendship in multiple series.
My idea for a transformers kart would be kinda like Sonic Transformed where you switch between gameplay styles.
You got a Car Mode that plays like a car and the Robot Mode is a 3D platforming segment.
Hasbro should totally make a full official game off of this idea I bet it would be fun. Who knows if they could partner with Nintendo and make it. That would be cool
Wait no hold on I want Optimal Optimus holding his buddies on his his shoulder, while shredding on a hover board. Also, Unicron should transform during the race.
They should have made this as an official Transformers racing game
Funny thing about when you mention Velocitron, the final track of Planet Cup that Autobot HotShot raced in is basically the equivalent of Rainbow Road. There was even the MASSIVE Shuttle Loop in that track.
I like that Starscream is with Megatron and I can see them blaming eachother for losing the race
I feel like for recolors the shattered glass version's could be added as well, optamis could also have a nemisis and Unarmored Ultra Magnus colors as well
Personally I think for an endgame in a story mode having Unicron (in a tank/ship mode like his Cybertron toy) using a smaller body and Sideways from Armada could be a sick endgame threat. Perhaps a checkpoint-based race to Cybertron's core against them is the final race.
My idea of a transformers racing game is where they race in vehicle mode first on flat tracks, but along the way, they must use their robot modes to traverse an obstacle course
theoretically speaking, you could also do the transformers, animated version of ratchet and the rescue bots version of blur as alternate skins as well

Barricade would be perfect for this game since I heard in one continuity he was a street racer also another perfect decepticon would be the stunticons specifically Dragstrip, dead end and motormaster also characters like Jazz, Prowl, Mirage, Springer, Blaster and Tracks Astrotrain and Blitzwing and maybe the insecticons
I know of a perfect possible DLC character. Rattrap riding on the back of one of the Maximals in their beast mode, like Primal, Dinobot or Cheetor.

If this ever becomes a reality, I’d love for some other characters like Wreck-Gar and Armada Sideways to get added among other characters and such. That would be AWESOME.
I feel like there could be a dlc cup with more characters that just consists of the base modes of metroplex, trypticon, fortress Maximus, and Scorpoknok. All being in base mode of course

For Unicron maybe after 2 rounds he starts Transforming, he turns into his Robot Form, and you're trying to escape him as like pits open and you have to drift around him, maybe a giant inescable chasm opens up in round 3 and you complete the last track inside him, maybe an Easter Egg of seeing Spike, Jazz, and Cliff Jumper being dragged into the lava pool thing and if you hit the object it'll save them but if you ignore them, they well uh. Die. Honestly Unicron is an amazing idea for an interactive Race Way you could hold a whole cup just surrounding Unicron
I have an idea for a battle course, omega supreme, You drive in his ship mode as it flies through space and autobots try to stop you, but then when someone presses a button on the map or after the halfway point, he transforms to robot mode. its an antigravity track, and omega is activly trying to attack you
It would be cool to see like a dinobot dlc, and I feel like they BW cast could work like using their cybertronian modes, oh and a shattered glass skin pack, oh and more DLC maps, like Peru and the unicron battle field from Rotb, or arks awakening from kingdom, so many ideas for this it’s great!
I think Smokescreen or Skids would be a good choice's for a racing game, And you know if this game existed I'd always play as Starscream and Knock Out. XD
Perhaps for the recoloring use the shattered glass versions as well?
and well, who says you can't add more characters? even try something fun like mini Devastator after unlocking all the constructicons? same for other combiners.
I kinda wanted to see Megatron and Optimus having recolors. Like, Prime could have a black alternate skin (Nemesis Prime) and a white one for the “core” bot of Ultra Magnus. Alternatively, since u gave Magnus his own spot, the other recolor of Optimus could be purple, like his Shattered Glass self. As for Megatron, a white variant (Shattered Glass) and a purple one (G1 Galvatron)

What if combiners were added? Perhaps they would only have the combiner leaders playable (Unless if it's a 2 member combiner) but their special item would be having them summon their teammates to combine and then the combiners would be like the mega mushroom and then they run over their opponents?
This is possibly the best idea in the history of ideas, ever
AstroTrain concept:
Driving methods: A remote control used by the other one driving him, like a model train or be driven like an actual train, although the one driving him would have to sit in a cart behind him like a coal tender.
Skins: I'd love to see for him would be some of the g1 sequel Train robos or the 2001 RiD train team.
Drifting animation: I want it to be like that one scene from polar express, or like the holographic tracks from 2001 RiD, where he multi track drifts. In order to make latter drift thing work he'd have to be either a garret locomotive or an articulated locomotive like the union Pacific's big boy.

coronation starscream: win 10 times as starscream

because if you recall the 86' movie, whenever the Junkions were knocked down, they'd transform, and now, the former bike is driving the former driver
I would buy this game and I love the concept art! the optimus prime bumblebee is driving in looks like a botshot! (Those things were my childhood)
