Completely agree on the back saving, I’m in my 70’s & still working, ( a builder) and my lower back is wrecked with the wear & tear of lifting heavy stuff. When I was a lot younger I used to weight train & all good but it encouraged you to lift ridiculous weights. 30 years ago I was signed off disabled it was that severe but being Old School, soldiered on. Never ever give up.

Yep I too am old school but somethings got to give. Been dodging an MRI on my back for a year now. I gave up weight lifting about 3 years ago because my schedule just wouldn't allow for it anymore and I'm paying the price now. 55 hr work week, family time and this channel has made exercising tough. Buying this lift is my way of sucking up my pride 🤣. Thanks for watching!!

In the Old Days there wasn't much concern about Heath & Safety at Work. One had to just get on with the task in hand. Which is Great but yes I does it can bring it's problems in later Life, I was always a bit of a fitness fanatic, played lots of Sports, the irony is that your core is going to be a lot more robust but you will, inevitably carry unwanted reminders of an active Life. I've still got a pulse, 😂, so that's definitely a plus.
All the best Mike, I'm definitely a fan of your straight talking approach.

I got one of these 3 weeks ago and made + bolted on a 6' 3/4" tabletop with 2x4 supports to lift 200lb panes of glass up into the hull of a glass bottom boat we are working on, super useful and sturdy. One piece of advice, check/top it up with hydraulic fluid, ours was low on fluid and stopped moving. The piston and instructions have two conflicting sets of instructions on how to fill, we just topped it off with the top removed which requires some minor messing with while on its side to remove.

Thanks for the advise James! That tables uses are pretty limitless. I’ll be using it as a lift for an ATV I just got that doesn’t run and is leaking from everywhere. I’ll make some removable lift pads and strap it down but should make working on it a pleasure. Thanks for watching James!

You may be tired; but, you are the man! I've been a member of the HF club for awhile; however, this April when the 32 gallon dust extractor went on sale, I also opened a credit card for the extra 20% off ( I think that 's what it was) and got the extractor and it's accessory pack for about $250. That was a good deal. I'll probably never use the card again, but who knows.

Hey Meat! I have the credit card too. Got it when I bought that Icon red tool box. That was about another $250 off. I also used a 25% no exclusions coupon they were foolish enough to send me. The $3500 plus tax toolbox ended up being $2600 out the door shipped to my house. I was pretty pls with myself on that one. At 29% interest I’ll never use it again. Your better off borrowing money from an Italian guy at back of a night club. Should have that Bosch video for ya in a week or two. Thanks for watching buddy!

@@ProjectsForAllReviews I got a guy. Hey, we're looking forward to that Bosch. I'm still looking for a rough and tumble job site. I'm still leaning towards the DeWalt. We'll see.

@@themeat5053 Planning to do the Masterforce and Kobalt budget saws shortly after the Bosch. Then maybe some comparisons. We’ve gotten away from the table saws and we need to jump back in.

I've been eyeing the this and 500 lbs model for a while, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The smaller one is about $100 less, but also has a max lift of 7" less. Can't imagine what I'd need to be lifting that weighs half a ton, but the height difference might make the 1000 lbs lift worth it.
    Ah, decisions, decisions... .
    Grats on 18K subs.

the 1000 lbs the handle folds down for better storage options and the lift will reach most trucks tailgate

How did you get it off the table??? You never showed that.
I just bought this model yesterday and it's still in the back of my truck. Hope I don't pull anything. 😢 One way or another, I'll figure it out. Looking forward to this thing making my life easier. 👍

That garage is Killing me! I left behind my brand new shop for this 1950's mess of a garage. At least the house/yard/neighborhood is a big improvement. Knocking it down isn't really cost effective and the city won't let me stretch it to 25x50 like I asked so I'm in garage limbo at the moment. Oh well maybe we'll get it fixed someday! 🤡🤣🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching!

I am I the only one who thinks that'd actually make a great stand for a jobsite saw? Hmmmm, you could lower it when not in use and slide the cart/saw under the workbence!

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I didn't touch on that but you're totally right, this would make a great machine stand or work bench. I plan to use it as a lift to work on the ATV I just picked up for free. I should have bought one of these years ago! Thanks for watching Greg!

No joke! 🤣🤡 It’s the ugliest welding I’ve possible ever seen on a finished product! I’m guessing this person is either paid by the job or their jobs on the line if they don’t produce super fast. Thanks for watching Maga!
