In today's video I'll be comparing all the variations of Dante's Ebony & Ivory Pistols through out the Devil May Cry series starting off with the OG Devil May Cry all the way to Devil May Cry 5 to find out which one of those games has the best Ebony & Ivory through the following categories Rapid Fire Damage Moves to award the winning pair with the World Jackpot Championship title - บันเทิง

Haven’t watched the vid yet but my guess is DMC3 because of how strong gunslinger was in that game

DMC 1 were really powerful, too. That's my guess before I see the end of this.
Well, I disagree. In DMC1, you can clear rooms with them if you position yourself well because of how strong they are. Like in mission 1 in the underground section that connect to the airplane room. It's also really good at building DT.
Also, it takes a weak man to over-look the reboot.

and not just the stomp, the ability to jump on enemies and ride them around, that's the real shit,
Guess they figured that Dante might be too old to ride enmies around but the Wild Stomp I definitely see Uncle Dante throwing that around
Its a cool mechanic, but ultimately useless for the more combo based gameplay they went on.
I've actually heard an interesting take on that once that each game has to maintain some unique elements to it otherwise it becomes entirely obsolete - which in a way is a good argument.

Even if that's the case, Having those crazy stuff from DMC3 in DMC5 wouldn't make DMC5 obsolete.
because DMC5 just has A LOT more going on, like the new trickster move which allows you to mix it with the original and spam it and give vergil the middle finger, or the new gunslinger for the pistols. or the new gauntlet and kick mode,
there is so much unique things about it that having the old stuff won't change anything, it's just a gimmick.
I want the crazy combo finishers back at the very least, the ones where you have to mash the attack or style button. those were secret techniques as far as i knew when i started DMC3 and i felt awesome for figuring them out, Now they're either removed or built in to the main combo.
RANT ::::: ALSO ALSO, Dante's sword started feeling crazy light weight from DMC4 to 5 and i hate it, In DMC3 each attack made you feel like some heavy ass sword is moving at light speed. the sound effect was really neat,
Now they feel like a stick.
Hell, Dante's helm breaker doesn't even feel powerful compared to other members of the cast. at least in 4 Dante's rebellion attacks had some crazy light shows.

Fun fact : Capcom E&I was based on the bigger size colt 1911 and Ninja Theory E&I was based on Desert Eagle and what i don't like about it is the handgrip, like it's so cursed unless it can only be shoot during limbo state
Dantes E&I were based off of colt 1911 I like how prestine & classic they look the reboot E&I were based of the dessert especially the design from the Ps2 Capcom published game Darkwatch and reboot E&I managed to look like toy guns to me somehow
I think the best ones are from DmC: Devil May Cry, the reverse bullet storm ability is really useful and cool, shame it didn't come back, also the fact that you can hold the buttons and time the release, making the bullets ricochet and deal insane damage
You know the reverse rainstorm was a pretty damn good idea they should have bought it back in 5 the charge ricochet was a reference to Spiral I belive that was very ricochetable in DMC3
they already put the ricochet ability into Nero's Gerbera devil breaker

I always loved inverse rainstorm + you can cancel it instantaneously with a mid air dodge and charge the guns whilst doing so. So good! 😁

Yup in DMC3 he was a true Gunslinger
E&I in DMC1 have a hidden rapid-fire shooting, since DMC1's gun button is both Square and O (X and B for xbone) you can mash both for insane DMG, faster than melee.
And I'm sadge you didn't add a design/look category, they look different enough to be ranked on it
Besides that, good video as always man, keep it up.
I gotta try it out in DMC1 I didn't put up a design category for the guns because the differences are pretty damn tiny a microscope would be needed to fish em out but I'm really glad that you enjoyed the video

I wish they could just find a way to implement gun special moves into the base moveset without having to switch to Gunslinger style.
I'm afraid that's easier to do with swords than guns considering the control scheme of the games
@Devil-Joe i feel like it’s possible to at least have some base moveset gun special moves with the addition of directional inputs or something.
I'd say that the most Dante move in thr franchise is when you surf on the enemies, not the wall stomp. I'd kill to have them both back!

I mostly agree, But i personally would rank 5 over 3 simply because i never really found twosome time that useful and i never really get tike to use the stomp. How about for your next ranking you rank the 'demon' based guns, like the nightmare Beta and alpha from the first 2.
Well twosome time is more of that move that's there mainly for showing off I get that it can be parked aside but I mainly do it to look good in between combos sometimes wild stomp can be a pain to pull off but fast mashing does the trick you know ranking hand cannons in DMC sounds like a grate idea thanks for the suggestion bruv

DMC3 was a cut above the other guns they were Aton of fun to use
Well, to be fair dmc 1 ebony and Ivory is a lot stronger than you think it is, but it's MASH dependant , that's why the DMD speedruns on dmc1 allow macros for eand I, you have to mash FAST and it WILL mess you up , but for m1 e+I spamming the puppets IS faster for sure
But again, you have to mash FAST
Then I gotta train my thumb to be a fast masher then to get honeycomb fire levels of fire power
My favourite E&I version is from The Animated Series because
Dante can destroy the bridge with that gun and shooting Sid(the main villain) like a minigun until Dante got Uno reversed card
Anime Ebony & Ivory were on a whole different level the silver and black guns were both ridiculously powerful
The only thing i don't like about DMC3 Guns IS that charging IS tied to gunslinger for me It would bê better If gunslinger only Gave you the extra moveset for the Guns but you could Stills charge normaly
Well it makes sense for Dante to use charge shots whenever gunslinger or not
It's me bringing some intresting facts again
To style or deal bigger damage you still need sword and according to ones more knowlageble ones from me dmc 1 have strongest guns in series
When you cancel hightime in dmc1 by shooting you get hineycomb fire when they slightly above you
I belive shooting boost carrys into dmc3 as well
So there's to get a honeycomb fire in DMC1 through a hidden mechanic canceling out hight time pretty Damn interesting if you ask me

Ot's more speed boost than anything else But levels up style and deals damage pretty well
Shown by same guy who claimed than guns in dmc 1 are more powerfull than anywhere else

The DMC 5 ebony and Ivory looks the best due to the difference which looks similar to DMC 1.
While DMC 3's ebony and ivory works the best, they have balanced power
DMC 5 ebony & Ivory have the benefit of the RE engine that's why they looks so good gameplay wise they're the 2nd best but DMC3 E&I Solo

@@DevilHunter-777 DMC3 on the RE engine would probably have the realistic artstyle as well. Huge shame considering how good the DMC3 cgi renders look.
in dmc5 to use twosome time you just need to press square and then circle right after while you're in gunslinger mode
Plus the left analog stick in gunslinger style

Hey man, I don't understand why everyone complains about DMC5SE for twosome time, you can simply press circle and then square (B and then X in the x box) with the same finger, you don't need to press them at the same time, just in a short time. Then you spam square (or X). I think it's pretty easy, not as DMC3 one, but still easy
Most of the time the thumb is required to pull off multiple functions twosome time ain't helping much with x and b at the same time

You forgot about the dmc reboot 😄 it was still a fun game even if they fed up the Dante character
So far I've been focused on the mainline DMC games for the reboot I might make a few videos for it on its own Merit

Poay so I stopped watching at around 2 minutes... I see whats hitting my ear wrong now.
You need a second person dude.
You do a voice of an announcer who isn't always the one talking, or is doing a commercial.
That voice gets tired and looses its OOMF fast. That and its obvious your voice takes a toll when you do it.
Dude please either get someone else to voice along side you, or make a second persona and bounce off of that.
Because your video ideas are great... buuut the 13 minutes of delivery is... almost unbearable...
Well I only use the announcer for the opening and announcing the champion winner the rest is my normal voice
