Not well, by all accounts. I can't even get Upscale to work, seems like there are issues, as others are having similar issues. Let's hope a solution is forthcoming.
Thank you Behram, we haven't noticed any issue with the extensions, however we will provide comparison in the upcoming days with Topaz and other similar products.
@@CleverPhotographer OK - I may have got confused. I upscaled an image (originally 2435x2315) using the 4x option, then dragged the resulting image (now 9740x9260) to the Upscale extension to upscale it some more, but at that point only the 2x option was available - the 4x and 6x options were dimmed. I thought maybe it was offering to reduce it from 4x to 2x but not to increase it further. I now appreciate it was offering a FURTHER 2x, which is of course 2x4 = 8 times (now 14610x13890) the original, beyond which it would be above the limits. Am I right? :)
I used it for the first time today and it worked just like you said. You edited the photo before you upscaled it. I can understand why you would want to crop it first but do you have to edit it first? And, does this extension work on iPhone photos?
Hi, Norma. You are right, you don't have to edit the photo first. It's just a habit. The extension doesn't work on iPhone, yet. We have to wait for that one.
i cant export my UPSCALED images due to the file size is too large.. i can export the photos after editing BEFORE i use upscale.. but once i use the upscale feature i cant save the photo..
Hello! I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the Upscale, Chris. From my understanding, there is a limitation on the export, and it also depends on the system you are using - whether it is Mac or Windows. As far as I am aware, the limit should be 32000 pixels on the long side. May I know the size that you are encountering issues with
Hi Gavin, that's very strange. So when you click on the "Upscale" button, do you see the rotating circle on the button indicating the extension is upscaling the image? Or if not, what happens?
@@CleverPhotographer The rotating circle was appearing but no image was being saved. There was no Upscale folder so I created one. It didn't make a difference, then about a day ago, it worked. I'm reasonably certain that there wasn't an upgrade, so I'm wondering if the bit-depth of some of my older images was incorrect. In any case, it's working now.
Just shameful Skylum charging for single feature extensions when they should all be coming w the program we’ve all paid for and we’re early supporters of

Having upscaled it, can you upscale it repeatedly?
Hi, It's possible to upscale the image multiple times but with a limit of 32,000 pixels on the longest side.

how we can upscale bulk images in this software ????

I did install the upscale extension. But its nowhere to be found?

This upscale had messed up luminar and now I can’t export my photos anymore:(

I've noticed that when I click Upscale now, nothing happens. I'm not sure that anything ever happened. It certainly doesn't save the file elsewhere.

This must be way out of date because there is no "I" in the upscale box, no option to view in finder.
