so nice to see you fishing stretches of river that I broke my teeth on thirty years ago as a young lad going fishing with my father bought back many fond memories seeing those stretches again. ty for the time and effort you put into these trips and videos.
Nice video, enjoyed watching! People seem to have different responses to fishermen, I suppose there are those who set up problems for others. I have seen dog walkers picking up discarded tackle on several occasions, they then vent their frustration on anglers in general. I have had dogs turn my kit over regularly clearly not prevented from doing so. All we needs is a piece of beach the size of a table cloth and they have all the rest. If each would behave it shouldn't be a problem.
Nice video Graeme and Mike! Sharing the water is something we all have to do but the rowers with attitudes is a bit much. I admire your control and taking the 'high road' with them.
Haha I remember when I caught an eel about twice the size of that and I couldn't get the hook out and it kept biting me so I had to cut the leader but it was a barbless hook
is it true you have to boil your hemp till the shells start to split graeme, never used it before, cheers dave in wrexham n.wales, ps merry xmas to you ,mike and family ok..
me owning my own water wont change the fact they are mostly ignorant big headed middle class pricks...an i do pay to fish lol dont think canoe wankers have been paying 40 to 50 pound a year for ten years to fish the river an 25 to 30 quid a year for a rod licence an 90 quid for the last 3 years for a salmon licence.. pretty sure i have more rights on my local river than some snob in a plastic bathtub
"Eel meet again"
You do crack me up Graeme

Yes, a very unusual attitude from the rowers. A lesser man (me) would have been catapulting maggots at them on their return journey.
Love this video never used casters yet but I’m going to give them a go now watch out you barbels
Ok thanks I'm thinking of going on the kennet! Or the Loddon but thanks for the advice

Yes,that's what most of us do.You need to see the white kernel as it splits.Don't throw the juice away.Let it cool and mix it in your groundbait .

Alex Harrison Boldings is too easy for these guys! Nets of 100lbs+ are effortless on some days. They'd clear the lakes out!
