    Great job ! 👏🏻 I think that the umbrella fabric is a good idea for the wings ! 🦇

    What kind of welder are you using?

    This little vampire looks wonderful ! The skin for the wings you would be spoiled for choice I feel . There are so many beautiful black faux snake or lizard skins available although in keeping with the use of up-cycled parts the umbrella would be great too. Oh to hell with it... get the wife's black leather jacket out ! :)

      It’s definitely a tough choice! That’s kinda why I’ve been holding off finishing it for ages! But I’m committed actually making a decision rather than procrastinating any longer haha

    Great work! Instead of adding the tiny bits of metal to the tips of the nails it might work to cut or grind the tips down to a more manageable shape to fit them together...

    • @zakmiskrycreations

      Thanks! Yeah this definitely should’ve been the strategy, once I had started though I didn't want to change it incase the wings looked different! Next time I will 100% be taking your advice haha

      Thanks! It’s a micro pulse arc welder - the Orion 150s!

    Maybe electrocuting yourself because your hands where directly on the ground clamp? Not exactly sure though, just a guess

    • @LuisGarcia-bd9nk

      Scratch that, I see when you were working on the feet you also grab directly on the clamp and weren’t getting shocked. So mystery is still unsolved lol

      That’s what I thought at first as well! But no clue why it was just that one time but not the others

  • @mgulhane

    You should totally fill up the wings that will just complete the look 😃

    • @zakmiskrycreations

      I think you might be right! I just need to figure out a way to do it that doesn’t cover up all the work that went into making them haha

    • @mgulhane

      @@zakmiskrycreations maybe you can use a thin strip of sheet metal folded in half vertically like a c channel and then weld it to the the wings

    Great job! use black fake leather and change the eyes to small and black bats don't use their eyes IMO

    • @zakmiskrycreations

      Thank you! And yeah in hindsight the eye’s definitely aren’t very accurate, I think I was trying to be a bit more stylistic for the face with exaggerated features like the fangs!

  • @Sketchy_Dood
    @Sketchy_Dood 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I think it might be cool to use some translucent ribbon cables, or Polyimide Film tape for the wings

    Hey man I appreciate your videos you have helped me with a few ideas you are very talented with this work I think the old umbrella fabric would look good on wings even try have separate parts of the fabric between the metal nails not just over top of it so it's like a trim and will match the style of the gold stuff you've done, it might be Harder to connect the fabric to it though you have to think of a way for that, your good at doing that though haha

    • @Darius.Khan.Entertainment
      @Darius.Khan.Entertainment 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But then again might look good and be easier just on top on back too if you get more transparent fabric so you can still see the nail shape through it cause those nails joined together like that is such a cool look like the spider legs you done

    • @zakmiskrycreations
      @zakmiskrycreations  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey man, thanks for the kind words! Yeah I still haven’t fully made my mind up what to do for the wings, I think I might test out a bunch of different materials and see what looks best - could make a cool video!

  • @lastvestiges

    If you don't already have some on hand then I'm not sure how easy it is to source them but for the wings i might suggest x-ray films cut down to size.
    There might also be some interesting sheets to be found in flatscreen tv's and monitors

    • @zakmiskrycreations
