Great job! I love the last shot- perpendicular to the gates at dusk. The way you captured the reflected red with the tell- tale white is REALLY cool! You've got a great eye.
very beautiful & precious catch of this beautiful trains...love the spanish talgo trains in general, way ahead of their time, but this one is really beautiful
Seriously wow. Of all the railfan videos I've seen very few are in 1080p and capture the feel of the railroad, the patience you take . Bravo !! PS, my first attempt after moving out of LA to a place (near Mojave) that has nice freights rolling through =) (oops, it doesn't like urls here)
PS, if you search A Scurry of Trains, you'll see my posting of freight and Amtrak thru White Rock, BC area. My video is poor quality compared to yours. I use the vid feature on my little Canon SX160. It looks real good when I burn a DVD but it sure looks crappy on TH-cam. Congrats to you neilybobmojo for doing a much better job.
@neilybobmojo I appreciate your color and composed images. They are some really beautiful stuff. The country up there is so beautiful. (I'm not familiar with the passenger cars or manufacturers. Is there any reason they are so low to the ground? Are they articulated wheels? I anyone has been in them, are the comfortable? They remind me of the light rail around Washington, D.C., and those had a lot of vibration even though I was told they used welded rail.) TY.
Thanks for posting this. I don't think the F40, the front "engine" is powered. It's just a cab unit with controls. This first train is being pushed. I see these units going through White Rock, BC twice a day. Nice to see an area where they can let it run at speed.
Imagens perfeitas . Amigo o seu vídeo é muito bom mesmo. SHOW. Os Estados Unidos tem uma excelente malha ferroviária. Espero fazer vídeo numa qualidade igual a sua. Adorei. Valeu.
Been on Tour with exactly this trains as a tourist and it was horror, too slow, everything way too slow. Staff was nice and very friendly, but that was the only positive thing
7:00, that sound though! ☺️
I already really miss these trains! Thanks for doing them justice
1:34 Cascade Train: *FAST AS F BOIIIII*
Amtrak: OMG WHY IS HE GOING SO FAST!!!

I love it when they wave :)
AmtrakPNW I agree :)
(Kid waves at train driver)
Train driver: (drinks coffee) the f*** you wavin at?
nice video and great catch of all the train's in your video.
I think trains look best in the late day low light! Thanks for posting!
LOVE this video!
Subscribed! We have such a great looking train and im proud of it!
Very nice Talgo. Greetings from Seville (Spain)
10:41 the jointed rail has such a neat rhythm with these trains
I love the sound of Train Wheels over a bump...
Charles Randolph The cascades kind of sound like a horse when they’re going fast. Don’t you think? I like it to.
Its called a joint, a joint is a splice connecting the adjacent end of tracks, and when a train runsover a joint, it makes a clakking noise

GK
We're lucky to have the Talgos in the Northwest. they are great
I like train videos on TH-cam 👍
I took this train from Vancouver to Seattle in 2017.
This video could be popular. ☺
Love this video. Well done!
Nice video neilybobmojo!
Nice video love you
I've actually never heard of the cascade! Cool train tho

Nice video! Coasterfan2105 would love to see this!
8:20 that is my favorite part of Portland
My too
If that F40 NPCU was fitted with that 645T, it would have screamed through the crossing as it leads the train!
8:44 *EARRAPE*
Very nice!

F40PH #250 is now NPCU #90250 that is used only for Amtrak Cascades.
+CPRailHelmet No, I live in Florida.
@@kristincrodian8170 no one asked
10:37 any idea which Amtrak NPCU that is?
its just a NPCU
Amtrak642Railfan Productions I meant the train loco number.
#90251?
90340
Very Nice!
Those sleek Talgo cars look so out of place compared to those immense locos! 🤣 Definitely the daftest looking train I’ve ever seen!
Well thank you, and thanks for watching!
8:40 sounds like a iroha railway emd f59phi with bi level cars in japan
I think because the horn fouled
Nice train, does it have an engine at each end?
Most of the time it just has an engine at one end and a control car at the other. Thanks for watching!! :D
The train runs by my house:)!
amtrak cascade looks like sonic
who else can find an amtrak f40 that still is powered lol

I like the f40ph
i read that this and the northeast corridor are amtrak's only profitable routes
Hobo G and the Downeaster that just sad
how do those npcus work if they dont have a motor
+danny edelman They just pull electrical and control connections from the train. Same with any push-pull commuter operation. Thanks for watching!
1:27 & 1:32
Whats with all the shooting stars in albany?
I think that's dust or bugs flying in front of the light
Austin C yeah probably
cool
What camera do you use?
I use Canon DSLR's, a 7D and a T3i and a variety of lenses. Thanks for watching and commenting.
wow
