      Yeah it sure is! It is a called "horn alley," and It is one of the best places to railfan in portland!

    I find it interesting that you see a lot of sidewards jerking of the engines that are supported by 4 axles, but the Talgo cars always seem to ride smoothly though the track imperfections on a single axle! Watch the action at around 7:15 for an example.

      That's because Talgos are suspended in the ceiling--they're tilt trains designed to lean into the curves.

      Yeah. I once saw a bike dart out in front of a train one second before it went by. One of the reasons it won't become a quiet zone any time soon
