I love this card! First the art is amazing again, second the way it can spawn multiple moths makes it cool for those jellyfish decks and third: Gulrang sac deck incoming! As long as you have defender, the card will stay in the expedition
Very interesting for Lindiwe decks. With this in your hero expedition and Maw in your companion expedition, every sacrifice increases your stats by 2/2/2 on both sides. 🎉
I’m excited to see more sacrifice cards I’m just hoping we get some more cards that want to be sacrificed with only the jellyfish and stargaze the deck feels like it lacks consistent good sacrifice targets unless of course you have great jellyfish uniques
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can technically play an expedition gear in your opponents expedition, so you can use moth lantern as pseudo removal so long as the moth is less value than whatever you're forcing them to sacrifice?
@@MaxPotentiaI hyrauma is correct. The reminder text is a little abbreviated here which makes things confusing. The default in Altered is you must play cards to your expeditions unless an effect says otherwise. What you are describing would be a cool ability that they could consider in future sets!
Good to know, too bad though. I was imagining additional interactions like using the Mobile Armory to interrupt Eat Me Energy Bars or Eat Me Energy Bars forcing a sacrifice with Amarok
Seems like an odd card. Im not impressed just from reading it but i want to see how this plays out in practice. Im happy for anything that makes Lindwe playable without the royal jellyfish.
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc I agree that this card isn't obviously good in all situations like some others but I think it is one that had the potential to get stronger with time depending on future reveals!

@TheBravosHatter mind blown! That could be a really cool deck indeed.
Great reveal. A card Lindiwe really needed. I'm most excited to be brewing around Arcolano Milk, one of the first cards to be revealed.
Curious to see what you do with it!

@@thekarifur doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice at that point haha
I'm excited to play in a pre release tomorrow, with brand new cards, against other players with brand new cards!
Sounds like a blast! I think I'll be able to attend a pre release next week on Tuesday!
I love this reveal, so excited for Trial by Frost, I feel like the entire meta might be in for a shock :D

That's understandable. I think some more targets could be good. One option is ordis carrier but the tempo loss is unfortunate up front.
I'd love to see Lindiwe getting in the mix (without 3x cracked Moon Jelly Uniques). Love the art on that token!

No, you can't play cards on your opponent's expeditions. :)

Im waiting on Jack Frost for Ordis.
