As a Security 1099 for the past few years, this is the 1st time seeing a video of yours and it's awesome!! I do my best to be respectful and professional towards those i interact with at all times and it's nice to see someone else being a gentleman
I’ve been offered rank, office work, tax departments over my 21 years. I’ve always denied it because I like this gentleman love the street work and being with people, solving problems. I come to work and teens, downtrotted, customers all come talk when they at my site. Great video brother
Damien you are top shelf when it comes to preparedness and professionalism. By the way the jazz tune smoothing and relaxing. Keep making great videos. You are the new face of Echelon Security.
Great job man , truly exceptional. That’s how you stand out in a crowd , you could tell that building rapport comes easy through all the many interactions you’ve had with all the different personalities. Good job again!
One thing that works for me is I fast one day out the week. I noticed when Im on a detail and I'm fasting , I'm more alert then the other guards / officers.
We ate so much pizza working security back in the early 2000s, worked General Motors security office and it was never ending pizza deliveries with 10-15 guards on shift at any time.
@@OpsecMediaGroup Nobody is trying to walk around with ballistic plates for 12 hours outside of a war zone. Even the light ones get uncomfortable after a few hours.
@OpsecMediaGroup my man 🤜🤛 I really like the approach. Unfortunately Canada has no backbone for security and I can tell you one disgusting story involving a security guard. In a day an age where more and more people have a hard time making month's end, a lot of people will end up homeless and live in their car while they have one. The fact that you're able to combine your law enforcement and social science experience to navigate the streets is fantastic. I live near Canada's national capital and drive through downtown for a living. I hand out cigarettes and snacks instead of change. Takes a while to gain the trust but eventually they accept food. Much love 🤜🤛

Portland and surrounding areas. Check out Echelon Protective Services on indeed, or go to their website.

Similar to California
No way in hell will you get 6 figures in PDX for security work. Even doing protection details

@@OpsecMediaGroup Why did you quit a career in law enforcement to pursue being a security guard?
@ “I didn’t quit to become a security guard…..I quit and later down the road became a security guard” -Damian
@OpsecMediaGroup I think your mission is way bigger than the title "security guard" 🤜🤛
Combat security
I’ll give you a cigarette if you move along
