I get the same feeling watching these guys that I do when I watch coverage of a rocket launch and they cut to the people in mission control. I think to myself, "Those are just kids who fell in love with something, stayed in love with it and found a way to carry that love into adulthood and found a way to make a living with that love." So amazing to watch the mixture of joy, expertise and enthusiasm. I really appreciate the content!
Seeing Travis' eyes light up over the Tick figure was great. I also love when you guys get into the weeds on random weird, rare accessories and variants so seeing you guys rip & tear through a bin of parts is fun
@@toyfederation you guys have crushed it. I’ve never seen anything like the way you guys do it on TH-cam. And the guys in the store are so nice and honest and respectful. Just seems so real.

I would really appreciate it if you did close-ups of some of the best things you get. Watching this on the phone it's hard to properly see most of the stuff you guys go through..
Love your content. As soon as a video is up, I watch it. The music cue your editor uses perfectly represents the tone. Curious if you could get some footage of the customer's pointing out what toys they are hoping to get in terms of trade as well as what they purchased? With the guy discussing what Transformers he wanted to get, I'm not much of a Transformer "fan" but I love learning and seeing what others are really passionate about. The boxed transformers he bought looked really cool, but I only got a glimpse.
Just an exciting show. I hate most vintage crap. But watching collections and collectors in their natural habitat is amazing. The only vintage crap I do like isn't older than 30+years. 😂
Holocron in Fort Worth, Texas is the best one stop shop for vintage Star Wars toys, all Star Wars toys. A little on the pricey side when it comes to their vintage stuff, but that's pretty much the common theme when it comes to the vintage collection. I remember Brian's Toys as well. The prices were quite reasonable compared to the prices you see today. I was able to acquire many vintage Star Wars on card during those times from on-line stores like Brian's Toys and Star Wars N Stuff, which was an online toy store headed by a guy in the DFW area. There was another place called Lone Star Comics who also had some vintage Star Wars toys. I also remember attending many toy conventions and finding some good deals during those times. Toy conventions now are more commercialized than ever before with special guest autograph signings and exclusives items. I have been collecting since the mid-90s and I have a very large collection of toys and have a great knowledge on the value. The toy market has changed a lot since the mid-90s. There are more collectors than ever before and some items are hard to find due to the absence of big box toy stores, the big one being Toys R Us. You have a very nice store with a good variety of items.
Man, always so cool to see another Transformers G1 fan…I could feel that customer’s pure joy as he walked out the shop with those gems!! Thanks for sharing!
At 5:35 that's a zbots Thunderizer tank. Hard to find one with its three gold missiles. I'm actually looking for a variant where the teeth are painted in. Parts bins are a true test of toy knowledge, and tolerance for junk, always some nonsense you pick up in a lot like that candelabra. The Transformers Alternators are incredible, its just that the collectors of them probably have not messed with them in a decade and they have been replaced by masterpiece scale. Also alternators was all car licenses which was limiting, but they were modern car models with seats and engines under the hood. So their popular with car enthusiasts that like Transformers.
