Opcom is still being worked on, the developer just has a lot on their plate hence why updates have been slow

I am one of those rare singleplayers in Arma. This mod has been awesome. It's like dynamic recon/combat ops but upgraded and it's own thing. I even tried it with WWII mods and it worked great. Although I also love replaying Western Sahara scenario from the DLC. So maybe I'm just easy to entertain on this stuff.
Also, this mod works with SPCM (singleplayer cheat menu). Which is awesome. Those two together are fun😅

@@BenchmarkCiA Oh wow, that's surprising. It's an older one but works. Basically lets you do a bunch of stuff. Great for singleplayer. Even if you don't want to give yourself stuff and what not, as you can debug things. Like when Miller got stuck in a rock in the missions. Rather than restart, I just fixed him lol

When played it last time (circa 1,5 years ago) there was sadly no option to save/load during missions on different islands. Did it change?
No idea, you can check the change log via the mod steam workshop
Im struggling with the mod. It doesnt work neither when i jump into the scenario mission nor when i start it through the editor. I got all dlc and game is up to date
Did you place the module first?
And if yes, try removing mods you're using, try only CBA for example.If it works, so you have a mod issue..

hello, I can't change my loadouts for my team members (ai), is it normal ? I'd like to give them specific weapons and outfits, but I don't know how to do it !
Try via the editor first, don't think you can via the pre mission interface

This will make to install ArmA again. Some afraid about FPS and performance when lot of troops in memory.
As far as Arma goes, you need a powerful CPU, and single core high speed (I would recommend at least 3.6GHz)

Otherwise can u make a helicopter patrol and transport all troops for combat? like operation in real time,I wanna be gunner in the chopper or pilot some atack choppers in patrol?

Very specific questions hehe, play with the mod a bit, this one is basically more infantry focused. You can always learn the editor though
4:21 I LOVVVVVEEE THIS IDEA , if only they could make this for reforger especially for both cold war era and modern era it would be a massive game change especially on console , im setting up another controller preset to work alongside my chatpad attached to my xbx cntrlr 😊, and this mod really will help as i have (mental health and learning) challanges so to beable to have preset objwctives etc.. really helps hopefully maybe now in 2024 we could beable to place items and such maybe create an objective and add it within this mod to ???

made me reinstall arma 3 instead of buying reforger, with all the mods combined its more content for the buck - great!
Arma 3 is still great.
Reforger is getting better and better especially with mods.

Tried this, launched, but I launched basic no gear, n o squad mates. Thought no problem i set up all the support stuff too. No way to reach them. 0-9 sup/cus didn't have anything. turned into basically a SERE mission. Got all the way to base, everyone left apparently. I'm having greater success in Drongo's and ALive. More front end setup in editor, but works.
Well, If Drongo's works better for you, you can always save your settings you make in his modules and launch them in every map you want.
Just use what's best for you, Arma workshop is full of everything :)

I love the idea of having the entire map just be an open world single player sandbox to liberate, but in Arma fashion, not that ubisoft ezmode crap with every base being self-contained and it feeling like the enemy is letting you have everything you take.
Is there anything like this for Arma 2? Maybe a single Map/Senario that everything is already preconfigured to play solo/commanding AI troops?
Arma 2? Not that I'm aware off, its been more than 10 years :)
@@BenchmarkCiA Yeah yeah, i know lol. I'm stuck on a low/mid latop with an i7-9750H @2.6ghz, RTX2060, an NVME SSD, and 16GB of DDR4. It runs some things great, but has trouble with CPU and RAM heavy games. I've been worried it wouldnt perform at 60fps with Arma 3, but it's looking like I may as well bite the bullet and just play it anyways.
Arma is heavy on the CPU. 2.6ghz is OK,
Especially for SP..
I have base clock of 3.9ghz and its good , but Arma is Arma, not stable.. 60 FPS on general in Arma is a dream that might not come true unless you play alone.. Without nothing on the map but you lol

It's mainly an SP mod but there's a good chance it will work in MP if you already have some playable units in the editor
Is neccesary know scripts? can add or remove some things of the mod for improve performance??
Knowing scripts is always good in general.
This mod allows you to also create scenarios and control AI count.
In the backEnd of it it comes relatively optimized already

This is probably the best SP mission generator out there, UI wise.
But MCC was everything, MP and SP ultimate "zeus" like mod just with new (back then) features and mechanics (GAIA system for AI, spawn units, S.W.A.T like features with surrender system and much more) that till this day I haven't found any other mod that does it better. Unfortunately, it's no longer maintained for years and has some bugs. It has a big warm place in my heart for it :)
@BenchmarkCiA you know i just hopped into this mod and saw two fighter jets flying above me. I was so shocked and thought that mcc4 could have never done this

It's really unfortunate it was not continued but the author worked on it alone till he didn't have any more time due to life stuff.

@@yahyabassiouni4497 I don't really know.. I think it might be possible if you place another playable units in the editor and export the mission first, but it's only my theory, haven't tested it yet

How do you get such good FPS is what I need to know!
"Easy"...
Arma 3 is CPU heavy..
So the faster your CPU is (base clock, not overclocked) the greater your FPS will be. GPU you'll get the same FPS with 1060 and 4090ti in Arma
As far as I recommend at least 3.8GHz (mine is 3.9GHz base clock).
All that said, you would be able to play SP in very good FPS and most settings on Ultra, but bare in mind that there are maps not optimized, scenarios not optimized and dedicated servers with potato CPUs.

Arma Reforger is much better of course with the new engine but I still recommend fast base clock CPUs

I notice my CPU will only be at 30% usage while I’m getting 20 FPS. very annoying!

Maybe some mod is killing your FPS, happened to me before (the mod was fixed later) but damn yeah, 230 is a lot lol
@@jamesc4196 I thought I was overkill with about 50 mods running LOL. I can get between 50 -75 FPS at 1440p all settings mostly high running a Ryzen 7 3700x, AMD 6900xt, and 64 gigs of ram. (some maps will do a bit poorer though, just depends what all is going on in the sceneraio). Don't need all that extra memory with arma, but with all my mods loaded, I do notice it will use about 14 gigs of ram, so having 32 gigs of ram would be great. Also, with 64 gigs of ram, I have virtual memory turned off.

No 100% simulator but you'll have clickable cockpits and of course modding community will do the rest
this mod is unbalanced. Tried playing with 7 AI teamates but every mission spawn at least 20 enemy units that will rush you as soon as you get close.

You can write to the author of the mod in details though and describe exactly what you did when encountering this
