This Ash guy you have been training with seems to have a good chance for a medal. But you might need to help him with the 1500. So excited to see what's going to happen! 😅
It is great thet you´ve made these videos again. I started doing decathlon after watching your first videos and now I am the third of Spain. Thanks for your inspiration and never stop making this vlog.
So nice to experience these moments again! Even crazier that I thought you performed very well on Day 1 not knowing you were just coming back from injury! Also the third long jump did look way further ;)
dude, i messed up my hammie before but cannot conceve of trying to go all out after just shy of 3 weeks i was squinting while watching you in blocks even tho i knew you were fine
I think a couple of years ago I'd have thought vlogging after each event of an Olympic decathlon might not be the most sensible thing to do. Maybe for most it might still be stupid! In your case it looks like 'just part of the process'... like a quick personal debrief then switch off and rest before preparing for the next event. Whatever works best for your performance is best I suppose... but really just a great insight for all of us that aren't Olympic athletes.
When I first started a lot of people had the same opinion. But I've found it helps clear my mind so I can focus on the next task at hand. I guess similar to others keeping a training diary :)
Day 2 vlog is out tomorrow!!
Yay

It's been so long and I've waited and waited. I've forgotten all about it and then it just casually dropped.

Apparently my shorts touched as I was landing. They showed the team management after we put in a formal protest
Oh ma goood, Mr. gray!
@@CedricDubler That's straight up nonsense. Great jump no matter what they want to call it.

Hey loving the videos ! keep it up glad to see this vlog up it's been a while !
The effort that u put into this videos and the Olympics at all were gnarly, especaly those 1500m!
too much smoothness on the warp stabilizer in first selfie clip
I actually didn’t apply any warp stabiliser. It’s the in built that causes it on the gh5 when I shoot with the 7-14mm
@@CedricDubler Yea i also agree with that "wobblie effect " it keeps destracting a lot maybie try to stabilize in post ?
Please upload CWG vlogs
Great video, glad you are back making vids
So sorry you were in this position. Amazing job
Great video- enjoyed it!
How can it be 7.36 in the third jump 😮 it was around 7.50 for sure
Shorts touched apparently. I was thinking the same
