選手村食堂の指揮を執っているのは、帝国ホテル特別料理顧問（前総料理長）の田中氏です。1964年の東京オリンピックの時も帝国ホテル総料理長ムッシュ村上が陣頭指揮をとりました。
知らなかったです！絶対おいしいですね…！
餃子が味の素の冷凍にはビックリしました！

Me too.. I'm really impressed. I feel bad for Paris. They tried hard because France is known for good food.. But I think their Arrogance of not understanding different countries habits and cultures. Sometimes you want to try new food.. not often your countries familiar food is what you trust.. as he said.. his team mates would eat similar foods This video made me hungry .. This was breakfast..lol

People in general have been forced to just shut up and accept whatever woke agenda the establishment tries to shove down our throats.
Paris thought they can do the same to Olympian athletes who some of them are superstars and millionaires themselves. They tried to force the athletes to "eat these vegetable proteins, they're better than meat!", and the athletes who could afford it gave the organizers their collective middle finger instead

Food wise, winter Olympics in Korea had the best selection ,quality and zero complaints from athletes. It was the first time ever, IOC said.

Our Olympic Village Restaurant try the best to serve variety of quality foods as our supreme respect to the athletes from all over the world who've been through so much hard work for 5 years under the difficult situation to win the qualification to the Tokyo Olympic Games. We really hope they enjoy comfortable stay in Tokyo and will be able to make their best performance. Good luck to every athlete!

I am so glad Japan can offer tons of good foods to athletes and the Olympic game officials from the all over the world. It is a real Japanese "Omotenashi." Enjoy the foods and stay in Japan.
Couldn't provide clean water to swim in for triathlon athletes though, eh? What about "Omotenashi"?
The water quality is below the standard value and it doesn't matter, though I'm not saying it's particularly clean.
@Holli Molli Feces and urine is still piling at the bottom from when there's alot of rain. People aren't usually allowed to swim there, so they should never have chosen it for their venue. Enoshima/shonan or south part of Chiba would have been better.

@@MrBASIC2012Just cause a few players said it was ok after they swam in it, doesn't mean it was clean. Tokyo bay is dirty as hell. "Omotenashi" is to provide good service and hospitality even when it is not expected or asked for. Tokyo olympics prioritized promoting the city instead of providing the best quality conditions for its athletes.

Everything is paid by the organizer, the IOC, so players don't care.

Paris is so unfair. USA prepared air conditioners, France used their own accommodations and hotels near by with good meals, while others had to endure heat at night, and no proper food available. and the refree😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

明治の「ブルガリアヨーグルト」置いてあるけど、ブルガリアの選手が見たら自国の名前が入ったヨーグルトが日本にあることにびっくりするでしょうね
実際にブルガリアから種菌を定期的に取り寄せて作られてるヨーグルトだそうですので、お口に合ったのではないかと☺️

Paris Olympic village food was a disaster. Tokyo village food was miles better than even most other villages of the past. I hope LA for 2028 learns from Tokyo in terms of food catering system and not Paris.

何回プログラムや責任者のトップが変わったのやら。
開会式と閉会式、政治家枠の不在、消えた民間プログラム。観客が居ないのはしょうがないが・・・しょうがないですまない赤字だからな。2兆3千億円強だっけか。
国威を示すために2兆3千億かー・・・。仮に交代劇やらコロナやら無しで、リオ閉会時のパフォーマンスが維持されていたとしても、ちょっとなー・・・。日本の資金出力じゃなかったら潰れてたんじゃないのか、これ。

I think he meant people took the box. At 9:05 you can see they have few boxes of milk next to the coffee table. I imagine some people would just take the entire thing with them.

@@jimmylong8454 I think they do serve milk at other location (maybe near the breads). The milk box here was to put into the coffee if they want, but because many people took them away, they just make the milk coffee beforehand.

@user-xh4tg9nw3d this is japan, they know how to manage food to avoid spoilage, and they often give discounts at certain time sales. Since Olympic is already over, pretty sure the entire village was remodeled to apartment complex and supermarket.

パン、飲み物、カレー、寿司、日本食、洋食やハラル、デザート、お菓子、24時間体制で提供しているので、パリのように、肉が2切れしかないとか、並ぶのに何時間もかかることがない。室内は冷房も効いているし、移動も自動運転バス。トイレは、音付きシャワートイレ。カーテンもあるし、何より、窃盗事件が、ありませんでした。
元々、住宅マンションとして建築されたものでクオリティーが高く、オリンピック後は、販売されたので簡易宿泊所とは違う。
