He's been winning against GoDs with Lee, beating high ranks with any other character won't be a problem if you're already a veteran who mains a very difficul tcharacter.

Kazuya is easy. One of the things that Mishimas thrive on is easy gameplay. Less decision you have to make, small move list, you can focus on fundamentals with small move list. I just use jabs and jab punish, ws44, ws1+2, db2, db4, db3, df4, df1,(2) db1,2, and hell sweep. Then combos. Easy combos. No ewgf ever. But I still wavedash for hellsweep mix. But super easy. I usually start or warm up with Kaz in quick match then go to my main in ranked.
@johnnymonsterrrr Heihachi having a traditional df1, some would say it makes him easier to play. He may have more technical strats and gameplay, but controlling neutral with a traditional df1 does make things easier. Not just df1, but also 1,b2. Being able to pressure with jab, and have a very good mid extension is, plus having a df1 is very good for a Mishima. Kazuya could only dream of having those two moves....
Thanks for playing the character. I like Kazuya only for one move. I haven't played tekken since tekken 3 and made it to purple with kaz doing 3/10 electrics. Mostly because people fell for free frame traps and counter hits.

easiest punish in the game 1,1,2 everything (all mishimas have it). Kaz whole move set is fairly easy and a good chunk of it is safe/hard to punish and hits hard (paul steve etc. all the same) you can have shit fundamentals but if you see 1,1,2 working after attacks d/f2 crushing and getting full combo f,f2 etc. and 1,2,4,3 being a good string even a casual can pick up on that. You go into heat you get free EWGFs etc. there's not a whole lot to it. ppl really in they feelings about these easy characters and for some reason they're taking it personal . What I think ppl are forgetting is that at a higher level is when kazuya becomes "hard" to play. because you're going up against highly skilled players who are usually using better characters like Jin,Nina, Drag, etc. and have extensive match up knowledge. lastly... this is the easiest tekken has ever been.

The argument that Kaz is easy even for seasoned players doesn't stand well, when the same arguement can be flipped for Lee. So many high rank Lees in the game be also spamming b3,3, powercrush, wall reset loops, ff3 simulator and easy mode blue sparks. You don't need to be a lee specialist to do well either, I've seen enough braindead Lees in Tekken god to know.

He’s not proving any point. Kazuya is hard for a beginner player. He won’t be that difficult for an experienced player with deep knowledge on the game who’s been playing tekken for like a decade. I've been watching your content quite a bit now, sucks I can't play tekken 8 cause im a brokie and don't have a new gen xbox. But I've been playing older titles like tag 2 for almost a year now. I was absolutely trash when i first started, but I'm gradually getting better! These players on tag 2 make me question my choices tho...
Honestly today the only guy that could make him look cool playing him is Keisuke, dude's a beast, but the character got so dumbed down and boring compared to the rest of the roster that it just won't click with me anymore, used to like him a lot.

I expected more idk why. All you need to play kaz in this game is just good defense and frames and that can get you to at least tekken god. After that pretty much everyone knows the matchup which makes it really annoying if youre playing an aggressive player. With 15 years of tekken you should be fine though, the game was made to sell copies not exactly to be difficult anyways, but maybe that's why enjoy it more than 7

easiest punish in the game 1,1,2 everything (all mishimas have it). Kaz whole move set is fairly easy and a good chunk of it is safe/hard to punish and hits hard (paul steve etc. all the same) you can have shit fundamentals but if you see 1,1,2 working after attacks d/f2 crushing and getting full combo f,f2 etc. and 1,2,4,3 being a good string even a casual can pick up on that. You go into heat you get free EWGFs etc. there's not a whole lot to it. ppl really in they feelings about these easy characters and for some reason they're taking it personal . What I think ppl are forgetting is that at a higher level is when kazuya becomes "hard" to play. because you're going up against highly skilled players who are usually using better characters like Jin,Nina, Drag, etc. and have extensive match up knowledge. lastly... this is the easiest tekken has ever been.

The argument that Kaz is easy even for seasoned players doesn't stand well, when the same arguement can be flipped for Lee.
So many high rank Lees in the game be also spamming b3,3, powercrush, wall reset loops, ff3 simulator and easy mode blue sparks. You don't need to be a lee specialist to do well either, I've seen enough braindead Lees in Tekken god to know.

He’s not proving any point. Kazuya is hard for a beginner player. He won’t be that difficult for an experienced player with deep knowledge on the game who’s been playing tekken for like a decade. That’s the part he’s not getting. He keeps making this about him and he isn’t able to step outside himself and see things from a beginners perspective.

Actually i didn't. I quit tekken for a long while then got back into it for a while. I also only play tekken when I stream. Lots of people saying false stuff about me that is just laughable
I never played kaz seriously cuz of how boring he’s but the fact that every kazuya I see does the same 10 moves says a lot about how hard he is. He may be hard in execution but definitely not in hard and over detailed movelist.

I was absolutely trash when i first started, but I'm gradually getting better! These players on tag 2 make me question my choices tho...
Just keep playing Tekken. Learn the fundamentals and it will carry you in any Tekken.

The arguments don't make much sense, between TK and TG, Kazuya is the worst to climb, and in GoD he's doing a little better, but Lee is on top of him, so by his logic Lee wouldn't have more stupid mechanics to rank up? Because the people who really know how to play (GoD), are doing better with Lee than Kazuya, and if Kazuya is so easy why do the ranks below GoD have a horrible winrate? almost the worse...

I expected more idk why. All you need to play kaz in this game is just good defense and frames and that can get you to at least tekken god. After that pretty much everyone knows the matchup which makes it really annoying if youre playing an aggressive player. With 15 years of tekken you should be fine though, the game was made to sell copies not exactly to be difficult anyways, but maybe that's why enjoy it more than 7
