This is actually kind of spooky to me. Those custom levels looks almost exactly like I saw them in a dream I had about me playing Jak and Daxter. I never thought one of my dreams could become a reality. This is so strange. Cool but strange.
Reading this comment is also spooky to me because... I had a dream like that when I was a little kid. I imagined a level that you had to go out of bounds in the Precursor Basin and somehow climb one of the cliffs to access it. I remember trying to jump around on the zoomer towards the edge of the map looking for it, convinced there was a secret level or something. This custom level doesn't look too far off something that could be near the Precursor Basin, lol.
I had a very lucid dream feeling like jak seeing the island in a real look then jumped 12 feet to see a lurker and ignored it. The saw a dark ico crate and woke up after I headbutted it
wow, something I've dreamed of existing since playing this as a kid, and now new & custom levels made. didn't even think about enhanced powerups on top of it!
I grew up on the trilogy and have so many fond memories of it. Knowing that now new possibilities are opening for mods and fan games fills my heart with joy. A great thanks to all those that worked so hard to give us all of this. Keep up the good work.
it's like Jak II and Jak III never happened and they decided to continue with the Jak AND Daxter name and aesthetic, and don't get me wrong i really love the trilogy the way it is, but i always wondered how it'll be continuing with that game style from TPL
this makes me want to cry, so excited and happy to see that this is a possibility, this level is so creative and makes such varied and fun usages of different assets. i love it and i hope i get to see this game from 20+ years ago continue to grow and live forever now :'3
I had an idea for a level where youre in the middle of a super large and dark ravine, and theirs literally hubdreds of those floating precursor platforms you have to traverse to get to the top

Same thing happened to me with an Oot level. Somebody ended making the exact environment I dreamt of years prior.

Sorta, they used a voice actor as baseline and then used a AI filter ontop of it

I don't think Kuitar will add lines of dialogue in other languages unfortunately

Is the map actually this eye searing bright or is that something you did?
