Tasmania Vlog Pt 3 - Cradle Mountain

We had two very exciting days at Cradle Mountain! We did the Dove Lake circuit and Crater Lake hike. Both were rated to be of moderate difficulty but we found Crater Lake hike to be much tougher (with its incline and not so well-paved trail). We also got to experience very different weather on the two days when we were there. (Btw you can't drive up beyond Ronny Creek so remember to park your car at the visitor center before taking the shuttle bus up.) If you don't have time to visit Maria Island, head to Ronny's Creek nearing sunset to see wombats!
We visited Devils@Cradle with the intent of seeing Tasmania Devils but it is also a santuary for quolls! The devils were named because of their devilish howls + they are nocturnal. so if you hear them at night, they really sound like devils.
What I missed the most was the night sky full of stars, which was breathtaking 💛
