- Join us as we venture into Penzance, Cornwall to explore St. Mary’s Church in Chapel Street. St. Mary’s Church replaced an earlier 1300s era chapel, which was spared by the Spanish during their August 1595 raid on the area because mass had been held there previously. Severely overcrowded by the 1830’s, the old chapel was torn down and ground was broken on a new church. The ornate building we have today was completed in 1835 and is now a grade II listed building.

Thumbs up Big like 👍 👌
Thank you!
No worries 👍
Lovely vid Brice, we walked through St Mary's last year, beautiful church, a chapel doesn't have a permanent priest/vicar and is usually smaller than a church 👍
Ahh, thanks the clarification. 👍🏻
Cornwall is my most favourite place, love seeing it as a backdrop to your vlogs! You honestly deserve more subscribers
Thank you so much for saying that. We’re getting there. It’s so hard to break through the TH-cam barriers! Almost at 700!

Interesting vlog Andrew, My parents were married in St Mary's Church back in the early sixties. One question you didn't answer: Did you eventually buy a pasty??? 😂
Went into the butchers right at the end of the vlog!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@theBriceSide knew you couldn't resist 👌
Have you been in the wars? Noticed a bit of facial damage in this and the previous video. Hope all's well. Keep up the good work!
